The Yarra River frms the suth east bundary f the suburb and cntains fur state parks that frm a green bundary alngside the river. Descriptin: This walk is in the suthern sectin f the suburb bunded by the Yarra River t the suth and the ltham Main Rad t the nrth. The walk cmmences and finishes at the Lwer ltham Park. The walk initially ges thrugh the Hlmes Flra reserve that frms part f the ltham Lwer Park. A path alng the bundary f the park is fllwed alngside the Yarra River and Diamnd Creek fr a shrt distance t the park bundary n Main Rad. The track fllws Main Rad fr a shrt distance befre crssing underneath the rad and then crssing Diamnd Creek and re-crssing Main Rad via anther underpass.. The walk then fllws several lcal streets t Griffith Park and a track alngside the Yarra River. The walk then fllws this track t Sweeneys lane and nt the Laughing Waters Park. The walk uses several tracks within Laughing Waters Park t return t Wild Cherry Drive and Sweeneys Lane. The walk retraces its path back t the junctin with a steep track that prvides access t Hillcrest Ave and ther lcal streets t return t Main Rad and the ltham Lwer park ing area.
