2 Juway is a Sherpa village of some 400 people including children, located in the Everest region of Nepal, 6500 ft. above sea level. Although this region is very popular with tourists many villages including Juway are not situated on the main routes and therefore do not benefit from tourism. There are no roads in this region and travel is by narrow footpath only.

3 The villagers all Sherpa people are part of a very close community, a community where everyone knows each other by name, families having known each other through generations

4 Juway Sherpa Serving Hands(Nepal),The Juway Development Project(U.K) is a registered charity organized by a small group of voluntary trustees, being devised and lead by Ang Pemba Sherpa in conjunction with R. Saxby in the UK + many partners around the world, which you are one!

5 To repair and provide the old and leaking cold water supply. To improve and widen single-track trails and if possible add bridges over rivers. To build a village community hall for everyone to use and benefit from. To help diversify the crops, plant and produce tea, provide a drying plant and the business knowledge to market it and provide a sustainable income for the future

6 Juway Sherpa Serving Hands is committed to providing basic human rights such as food, water, shelter and education. This is the driving force behind our Child Sponsorship Scheme. Juway Sherpa child sponsorship is the start of an incredible one-toone relationship between you and child

7 As a sponsor: 1 You will receive update on your sponsored child twice a year 2 You will receiver photos, letters and/or art work from your sponsored child

8 To improve educational opportunities by providing books, writing materials, funding for teachers not only for children but also for adult Sherpa people, providing funding for the very poorest families who's children cannot currently afford to send their children to school. To build a village community hall for everyone to use and benefit from.

9 Your support could help change their lives! With help we can help educate, support and empower the most vulnerable people providing them with education, life skills, and protection from violence and exploitation.

10 Valuable contributions make it possible to build a better life for Nepal s poorest and most vulnerable boys and girls. 10 will help a child to go to school in Juway for a month. 100 can help a child to go to school in Juway for six months includes dress.
