Itinerary: (6 nights and 7 days) Day 01: Arrive at Bagdogra /Siliguri and reach Phuentsholing Our representative will meet you on arrival at either Siliguri or Bagdogra airport in the Indian state of West Bengal. After a drive of about three hours along a road lined with lush green tea gardens you will reach Phuentsholing, the gateway to Bhutan, which lies directly at the base of the Himalayan foothills. This rapidly growing town is Bhutan s commercial center, with most commercial organizations headquartered here. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Phuentsholing. Day 02: Phuentsholing-Thimphu and overnight stay at Thimphu After breakfast, proceed to Thimphu, making our first stop about 5 km. up the road to visit Kharbandi Gompa. This beautiful monastery situated in a garden of tropical plants and flowers, was built by Royal Grandmother, Ashi Phuntsho Choedron in There is a splendid view of Phuentsholing and the Indian plains from the monastery garden. After passing through Chapcha the road reaches its highest point of about 2,800m/9,185ft, then descends steeply and runs along the banks of the Wang Chu (river) to Chuzom (meaning confluence), where the Paro Chu runs into the Wang Chu. From here it is only about 2 hours drive up the valley to Thimphu. Shortly before reaching our destination, we will stop to visit Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress in the kingdom, built by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in On arrival in Thimphu, check into the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Thimphu

5 Day 03: Thimpu Sight seeing Morning visit to Tashichhodzong, the main secretariat building which houses the throne room of His Majesty, the King. Tashichhodzong is also the summer residence of the Je Khenpo (Chief Abbot) and the central monk body. Proceed to the National Library, which houses an extensive collection of Buddhist literature, with some works dating back several hundred years. Visit the nearby Institute for Zorig Chusum (commonly known as the Painting School), where a six year training course is given in the 13 traditional arts and crafts of Bhutan. Also visit (outside only) the National Institute of Traditional Medicine, where the medicinal herbs abundant in the kingdom are compounded and dispensed. Day 04: Thimphu Punakha / Wangdue After breakfast drive over Dochu-la pass (3,088m/10,130ft) to Punakha. Punakha served as the capital of Bhutan until 1955, when the seat of government moved to Thimphu. Originally situated on the riverbank and dominated by the towering walls of Punakha Dzong, the township was relocated to a safer site a few kilometers down the valley, consequent upon extensive flooding in the early 1990s. At the same time, extensive renovation work was undertaken on Punakha Dzong itself, which is now a breathtaking and glorious sight as you first glimpse it from the road. Although four catastrophic fires and an earthquake in past times destroyed many historic documents, Punakha Dzong still houses many sacred and historic artifacts and also the embalmed body of Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. 6 Day 05: Punakha Thimpu-Paro After breakfast drive to Paro, visiting Simtokha Dzong en route. This dzong, built in 1627, is the oldest in Bhutan. It now houses the Institute for Language and Culture Studies. Arrive Paro and check into the hotel. Either we do local sight seeing in Paro and if time permits walk down a hillside trail to visit Rinpung Dzong, which has a long and fascinating history. Overnight at the hotel in Paro. Day 06: Paro sightseeing Start at 6:00 AM for 4 hour trek to Taksang Monastery called as Tiger Nest. This is a arduous climb and those who don t want to do this trek, can spend time in sight seeing. The sight seeing will include Drukgyel Dzong and drive to Phuentsholing and overnight stay at this border town. Day 07: Phuentsholing to Bagdogra/Siliguri After breakfast, start the journey back to Bagdogra to catch flight. If you have ideas of continue the journey of Himalayas, you can choose to visit Darjeeling-Sikkim which is another itinerary which can be added to this one

8 Darjeeling is the Queen of Hills and most romantic place to visit. Adding to that is Kalimpong and Gangtok in Sikkim. You would be thrilled being there and could be visited almost across the year. Itinerary : 5 nights and 6 days Day 01: Bagdogra. Our representative would pickup from airport or railway station and then check-in at Darjeeling. Evening free to explore. Day 02: Today we start with Darjeeling local tours. Early Morning Sunrise Tour to Tiger Hill at 4 am and on return visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop.After breakfast we visit Darjeeling Seven points sight seeing from 8.30 am to pm which includes : HMI, Himalayan Zoo, Tea Garden, Tibetan Refugee Center. The journey would be long but very thrilling as we are going to vvisit Indo-China border, Tsogmo Lake (Changu Lake) and Baba Harbajan Singh Temple. If Route Blocked: Optional Drive to Namchi & Rabongla via Temi Tea Gardens. Day 05: Gangtok Full Day Gangtok Cherry City tour consisting of Rumtek Monastery, Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Memorial Chorten, Orchid Garden to name few locations. Day 06: This morning, we start from Gangtok and return drive to Bagdogra. With that the trip ends

On the way visit Tashi View Point, Kabi Lungchok, Phodong, Namok, Mangan, Singhik, Chungthang, Lachung Valley. Enroute you will be taken to Naga waterfall, The Confluence of Lachen Chu & Lachung Chu at Chungthang and Bhim Nala Waterfall and reach Lachung in by evening. Day 3: Excursion to Chopta Valley, Gurudongmar Lake and Lachung After breakfast excursion to Chopta Valley (14,500 ft.) & Gurudongmar Lake (17,000 ft.). Gurudongmar Lake offers magnificent view of Mount Siniolchu & Kanchandzonga. Back to Lachen for lunch & transfer to Lachen (50 km). Day 4: Excursion to Yumthang Valley and Yumesongdong and Zero Point After breakfast excurtion to Yumthang Valley (11,800 ft.). Rhododendrons, Orchids & varieties of flora & fauna are found during spring in the month of April & May. Yumthang is the summer grazing ground of the yaks. On the way back visit Sulphur Hot Spring, having medicinal values and start back to Gangtok and check-in to the hotel
