2 INAUGRAL MALONE MINI-RUGBY 4-NATIONS FESTIVAL ADVANCE EVENT BRIEFING This document is intended to give Coaches and Parents a preliminary update on the Event to allow everyone to make the necessary arrangements that will help to make this an enjoyable, memorable experience for all involved. OVERVIEW The 2016 Malone Mini-Rugby Festival, will see 16 squads of P7s (born between August 2004 and July 2005) from all over UK and Ireland. The whole purpose of this event is to give the children in attendance a memorable experience while playing against teams from all four home nations. Time Activity Saturday 30 th April :00-11:30 Teams arrive 12:00 Coaches briefing 12:30 Matches Commence 2:30 Break for lunch and group harmonization 3:00 Rugby commence 5:30 Matches end 6:30 Presentations 7:00 Event BBQ
3 At Malone 4 nations tournament we hope to have a team representing England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland in each group so the festival will take place in the following format. 4 Harmonization Process Pitch 1 Pitch 2 Each group will have a representative from Malone who will co-ordinate match results and teams ability and size. This will be taken into consideration when the groups are decided for the second period of play so that the second group matches will be competitive balanced games. Pitch 3 Pitch 4
