1 Action for Blind People structure Action for Blind People is a national charity with local reach, providing practical help and support to nearly 30,000 blind and partially sighted people of all ages. We listen, we understand, we act. Within Action there are currently three directorates Operations, Partnership and Finance and Resources. The Operations teams are responsible for the delivery of Action s services to blind and partially sighted people across England. Operations currently comprises four Heads of Operations, each managing clusters of teams with specific national responsibilities. Within Partnership, teams lead on the strategic development and growth of our services by embedding partnership working in all we do through all teams, with blind and partially sighted people and in developing relationships with other agencies. Finance and Resources provides support services to and for the charity as a whole, including operational teams, Directors and Trustees.
