Planning, production and marketing of Tree Lighting Ceremony Planning, production, marketing and ticket sales for First Night Planning and production of Cookie Cruises with Santa Dismantling of the Tree in January

4 DBMC Budget for the Holidays Budget for Tree Site Operation $175,000 City contributes: $25,000 DDA contributes: $30,000 The rest ($120,000) is the responsibility of the DBMC to fund

5 Funds go to: Building and dismantling Tree - $25,000 Wiring the Tree for electricity - $47,500 Wiring the Tree for Sound Cranes for Tree Build and moving houses Additional staff to run the site activities such as ice rink and gift shop Signage Marketing - design, website, collateral Supplies that we can t get donated

6 DBMC Funding for Tree: $120,000 Sponsorships Site Activity Ice Skating, Gift Shop, Santa photos Donations Vendors at Tree Lighting Most event promoters make money from ticket sales, alcohol sales, sponsorships and vendors. The City Events are Free and we do not sell alcohol leaving only sponsorships and site activity.

9 In Kind Donations include: Free Advertising from Sun Sentinel Free TV promos from CBS 12 Line item of up to $5,000 from Home Depot Used for waters for volunteers, decorations, new ornaments, cleaning items, tools, timber, paint. Home Depot also touches up the houses each year saving City labor Food for volunteers for the month of November from 20+ restaurants in Delray Beach Volunteer hours that equate to $45,000 of time $12/hour rate based on Non-Profit council guidelines)
