1 IBM Recovery Centre The Docklands 6/7 Harbour Exchange 6&7 Harbour Exchange Square, Isle of Dogs, London, E14 9HE Facility This recovery centre occupies five floors of the multi storey building. The complex is protected by uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and diesel generators against external power failure. Security is enhanced by CCTV and security staff. Positions Currently the facility offers 277 work area positions divided into three discrete recovery suites. These suites provide shared and dedicated work area and dealing desks offering voice recording facilities. Data centre space and infrastructure The recovery centre also provides dedicated data centre space. This space is either caged or located in separate rooms and caters for the specific needs of individual clients. Also included are the IBM communications rooms containing hubs, switches and other technology related operations. Support The facility is supported by a team of experienced technical, communications and facilities staff totally dedicated to our clients business continuity needs. 3 South Plaza 3 South Plaza 3, 189 Marsh Wall, London, E14 9SH Facility Housed within a modern 14 storey office, located close to South Docklands Light Railway (DLR) station, the recovery centre is one of the three IBM sites in London s Docklands.The site offers 60,000 square feet of office space on four floors, available for customers business continuity and recovery requirements. CCTV is installed together with around the clock security presence. The occupied areas of the recovery centre are fully air conditioned. An uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and two diesel generators ensure continuous electricity if the mains supply fail. An IBM reception desk is located on the second floor. Positions Currently the facility offers 408 shared and 103 dedicated work area positions, separated between eleven recovery suites. The centre also provides boardroom, rest room and kitchen facilities. The facility is contained within 113,000 square feet of a modern 14 storey building. Partially integrated with the shopping mall, the site is adjacent to the bus, rail and underground and DLR station. Site security is enhanced by around the clock security presence and CCTV. An uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and diesel generator provide emergency power to all parts of the building if the main supply fails. Positions 521 shared positions are allocated over six floors (8th-13th). 625 dedicated positions are also housed in various suites throughout the building. Both shared and dedicated areas have meeting rooms, rest rooms and kitchen areas allocated. Areas have air conditioning and are protected by CCTV and by area/room access control via digital swipe card technology. Desktop technology reflects client contracted requirements and all supported via CAT5 cabling to multiple points at each desk. Car From west: Take the to the Stratford one-way system (Great Eastern Road). Take the first right at the traffic lights, going across the on-coming bus lane (there is a sign for Stratford Shopping Centre). Visitor parking is immediately past the ramp that leads up to the public multi-storey car park. Data centre Currently the facility offers a total capacity of 11,014 square feet of data centre space distributed between shared and dedicated customer requirements. Rail From Stratford station: (Liverpool Street) 10 minutes. Docklands Light Railway terminates at Stratford. Central and Jubilee lines on the underground also stop at Stratford. Take the pavement right for 100 metres (pass barrier controlled car park) and turn left.
