11 Film & TV Map March 2015 Yorkshire has provided the backdrop to a long list of high profile film and television productions over the years, with its stunning locations helping to make the county one of the most desirable filming destinations in the UK and this is continuing with recent large scale productions choosing Yorkshire. The map will raise the profile of Yorkshire as a TV and film destination and excite and inspire more visitors to visit places that have attracted film and TV makers in the past. 12 Cycling in Yorkshire Guide March 2015 Cycling is booming in the UK following the success of the Yorkshire Grand Départ 2014 and following on from this, May 1 st 3rd will see the new cycle race, the Tour de Yorkshire, take place across Yorkshire. Yorkshire and cycling go hand in hand. The diverse, natural landscape is designed for cyclists and the county is widely regarded as one of the spiritual heartlands of UK cycling. In 2015 we will once again be producing a targeted campaign to help promote Yorkshire to cyclists and enable our member businesses who cater for the cycling community to communicate with this sector of the market. You might be an accommodation provider who welcomes cyclists, a café or restaurant, a bike and cycling products retailer or any other Yorkshire business who welcomes customers arriving on 2 wheels.
