6 THE LOCATION Scriptor Court is prominently located within the heart of Clerkenwell, on the west side of Farringdon Road, close to its junction with Rosebery Avenue. Clerkenwell is one of Central London s most exciting urban villages. Many of the warehouses and workshops of Clerkenwell s industrial past remain but they have now evolved into the prime destination for companies in the creative, technology, design, TV/film production, hi-tech, media and fashion industries. The Clerkenwell district has fast become the location of choice for creative businesses. Over the last few years, a number of well-known and established businesses have relocated to the area; such as Grey London, Lastminute.com, Adidas, AirBNB, Kurt Geiger, Unilever, Zaha Hadid, Ben Sherman, Alexander McQueen, Deloitte Digital & The Hoxton Hotel to name a few. The immediate surrounds are home to a number of interesting and exciting occupiers with a unique array of restaurants, bars, clubs, cafés and shops lining the local streets.
