They contain lots of imptant and useful infmation to help you plan your trip and to prepare you f your boating holiday. Please don t hesitate to contact us if you require any further infmation. F all other queries, please call us on TRAVEL INFORMATION BY ROAD Be prepared: It is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with local road rules and abide by them. Most European countries have a list of compulsy equipment that you must take with you. F example, there is a new legal requirement in France to carry a breathalyser in your car. F driving advice and a list of the equipment you ll need, please visit GPS Co-dinates: E ` N ` Directions from Calais: Follow signs to Paris/Reims/Metz (A26 Motway) - take A26 to Reims - through Reims follow autoute signs to Chalons-sur-Marne. Then follow signs A26 Dijon/Langres joining A31 just nth of Langres. Take exit 6 marked Langres Sud and Gray. Turn right onto D428 - follow signs to Longeau - at Longeau traffic lights follow D67 to Gray. At Gray continue straight in and cross the river bridge - at roundabout on far side of the bridge take last exit (Avenue Carnot - Hotel Au Mastroquet on cner) - take 2nd left near hotel Fer a Cheval - go straight through public car park behind the hotel and Le Boat is on the right. Road distance approximately 570 kms 5.5 hrs. Directions from Paris: Take the Auto route du Soleil (A6). Leave at junction signposted Pouilly en Auxois onto A38 to Dijon. On arriving at Dijon follow signs to Gray on D70. At

2 Gray cross the river bridge and at roundabout turn left, then left again at Hotel le Fer a Cheval - go straight through the public car park behind the hotel and Le Boat is on the right. Road distance approximately 350 kms 3.5 hrs. Directions from Besancon: After the second roundabout, take the D67 to Gray. Upon arriving at Gray turn right at the Hotel Le Fer a Cheval - go straight through the public carpark behind the hotel and Le Boat is on the right. Road distance approx. 49kms/50mins. CAR TRANSFERS (FOR ONEWAY CRUISES) If you are doing a one-way cruise (i.e. returning your boat to a different base), we can transfer your car from your departure base to your end base. Our staff are insured to drive your vehicle on your behalf, with the exception of rental vehicles. Car transfers are bookable in advance. Please complete a taxi transfer request fm, found at the end of this document, and return it as instructed at least two weeks pri to your holiday. Fares are payable locally in local currency. Extra passenger 10 pp. Guide prices only subject to change YOUR ARRIVAL BASE OPENING HOURS Monday Thursday: 09:00-12:30 and 14:00-17:30 Friday Sunday: 08:30-12:30 and 13:30-18:00 WHEN TO ARRIVE: Your boat will be ready to depart f 16:00-17:30. We recommend that you arrive 60 minutes earlier f check-in and instructions. If you have booked an Early Check-in Service, please arrive at the base ready to depart between 11am and 12pm from 2pm. LATE ARRIVALS: If you are going to be arriving at the base late, you will need to infm the base directly. When you arrive at the base there will be a note on the reception do infming you where your boat is. The boat will be left open with the lights on f you to stay on board that night. The base staff will do the full briefing the following mning. UPON ARRIVAL: Our base staff look fward to welcoming you to their cruising region and aim to make your arrival and holiday as smooth and enjoyable as possible. When you arrive base staff will: Take a fuel deposit to cover the fuel you use during your holiday. Any extra fuel used will be charged on your return we will refund the difference f fuel you have not used. Take a refundable collision damage deposit if you have not purchased collision damage waiver. This will be refunded if you return your boat and its inventy undamaged at the end of your holiday Familiarise you with your waterways guide, maps and other helpful documentation provided to help you plan where you want to go and where you d like to stop. Brief you about your boat, the equipment on board, and the cruising area (places to visit, etc). Give you a boat handling demonstration on the water with one of our technicians.

4 BASE FACILITES PARKING: Parking is bookable in advance. External locked compound - $60 per week Garage - $85 per week Although free on-road parking is available in Gray, we would highly recommend that you pay f secure parking due to high level of car crime in this area. PRE-ORDER YOUR GROCERIES Order one ( me) of our 2 grocery packs, which will be ready on board f you when you arrive: 1) Sundowner Pack - all the essentials f your first evening on board. This will cost $60. Sundowner 2 bottles of local wine 1 bottle of coke Crisps 6 cans of beer 1 bottle of lemonade Aperitif biscuits 6 bottles of water 1 bottle of Juice Peanuts 2) Starter Pack - all you need f your first night & mning aboard. This will cost $85. Starter Olive oil Kitchen Towels Silver foil Salt/Pepper Fresh coffee Croissants/Pain au chocolat (vacuum packed not fresh) Butter Milk Bread (wrapped not baguette) Sugar Jam 1 packet of biscuits 2 bottles of local wine 1 bottle of coke Crisps 6 cans of beer 1 bottle of lemonade Aperitif biscuits 6 bottles of water 1 bottle of Juice Peanuts These packs are only available pre-booked, from the time of your booking up to 2 weeks befe departure. Regional cooking, pizzerias, grill etc.

A fishing permit is required f 30 and is available to buy at the base reception. You can also purchase a licence from the fishing tackle shops across the bridge from the base. MARKET DAYS There is a market every Saturday mning next to the base in Gray until 12:30. YOUR RETURN Your boat should be returned and unoccupied by 9am on your last cruising day ( by midday if you have booked a Late Check-out).
