So there s some serious deliberating to be done before you settle down with your favourite snifter and enjoy an equally satisfying game of footie on our flat-screen TVs. And then there s the cornucopia of thoroughly tempting food on the menu. It is to be hoped you are in decisive mood! Of course, you may elect to dine in the contemporary splendour of The Lawrence restaurant, with its mouthwatering selection of fare created by our hugely talented chef. It s just one more very tough call you re going to have to make. Then again, you may just decide it s all too much, and experience the delight of our in-room dining instead. Being the vivacious, exciting, modern metropolis that it is, has all manner of seductive ways to distract a satisfied delegate once their conference has closed. As you might imagine there are bars, bars and more bars; there are some seriously well-heeled shopping opportunities, including the Paul Smith flagship store; and there s seemingly no end of concerts, plays and exhibitions to stir the passions and get your aesthetic juices flowing. In fact, once you have sampled what has to offer, you ll probably want to come back for more, conference or no conference. Directions Leave the M1 at Junction 26, take the A610 towards for half a mile, keep in the right-hand lane. At the roundabout take the last turning off, A6002 (Woodhouse Way) to Stapleford/Strelley. After three quarters of a mile, you will see the hotel on the right as you approach a roundabout. Take the last exit (Mellor s Way) and the hotel is on the right. From the Centre of, pick up the A610 (to M1 north/eastwood/ripley) from the ringroad. Continue on the A610 until half a mile from J26, M1. At the roundabout take the second turning off, A6002 (Woodhouse Way) to Stapleford/Strelley. After three quarters of a mile, you will see the hotel on the right as you approach a roundabout.
