8 The site is identified in the recently adopted South Ribble Local Plan (July 2015) as being allocated for employment purposes. Policy E1(g) refers to the site as the, West of Lancashire Business Park, and identifies 22.2 hectares of land for employment development. It has been confirmed by the Local Authority as being suitable for uses within Class B1 (Business), B2 (General Industrial) and B8 (Storage and Distribution).
