11 Phase 2 Future Milestones Look Ahead Schedule: February 2019-September 2019 February June 2019 Atlantic Street Underpass Closed June 28 July 8, 2019 Atlantic St./South State St. Detours July 9 September 7,2019 Atlantic St./South State St. Detours September 8, 2019 All Roads Re-open 1. A new center pier will be installed; south assembly area constructed; Atlantic St. widened 2. The old bridge will be demolished and the new bridge will be rolled into place on Atlantic Street. All tracks restored. 3. Atlantic Street will be lowered to accommodate the new bridge clearance of Atlantic Street and South State Street will re-open with road work & bridge work completed.
