The island of Gili Meno is still relatively unspoiled. Therefore is a great escape for honeymooners or visitors. Who just want to totally get away from it all. The island is only about 1km x 2km with no motorized transport. So NO cars, No motorbikes, No worries. The mode is you walk, use a bicycle or jump in a passing horse and cart. Gili Meno island is about total relaxation and the simple things in life. Probably the closest accommodation to the sea in all the Gili islands. This cottage accommodates 2 guests only. We regret no children. One roomed cottage with cement floor. Windows with shutters, large king-size bed and daybed. AC and ceiling fans. Simple separate outside bamboo bathroom with hot and cold fresh water and well water showers.

3 Small safety box for your personal effects. TV for watching DVDs only. Library with books and DVDs. Which you are welcome to use. Bar fridge, complimentary black tea and coffee which you can help yourself. Large beach Gazebo where guests spend most of their time. The gazebo is 6.5m X 8m and has a large king-size daybed, 2 couches and a large table and chairs. This is a perfect place to just relax and enjoy being on the beach while being protected by the sun. There are no mosquito nets over the bed. The windows are screened with nets not glass. We spray the property daily. No glass windows. If you want to use the AC you will need to close the external wooden shutters.

Just behind Shack 58, and 100 meters back from the beach. It is the new accommodations of Shack 59. Base on the same outdoor living theme. Shack59 is a charming accommodation which sets back about 120 meters from the shore line on a separate property. However it still has the exclusive use of its own beachfront day gazebo which is 4m X 4m. Also with a private bathroom. You can enjoy breakfast and the ocean view here. You access Shack 59 via the official road from the beach front as per our brochure. This cottage accommodates 2 guests only we regret no

5 children. One room cottage with cement floor. Netted windows with shutters, large king-size bed and daybed, AC and ceiling fans. Simple separate outside bamboo bathroom with cold well water shower. Shack 59 due to location does not have fresh water as it is not directly on the beach. Delivery water only to our beachfront property by small delivery boat. We regret no children. Our Bamboo holiday Shack is available for house exchange at this time. It is an open air home with no windows or doors.

7 There are drop down blinds for privacy. It is available for non simulateous exchange as it is our holiday home. Even though there are 2 bedrooms. As all the building is open it is best suited for 2 persons only. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A central lounge and a small open plan kitchen. Places of interest for exchange at this time are NYC, San Fansisco, Bali and Lombok. However open to suggestions and surprises. Shack Location Situated on the north east side of Gili Meno. There are 7 PADI dive centers operating on the 3 islands. Shack 58 and Shack 59 also has a housekeeper who is always at hand to help make your stay as relaxed as possible.

8 Electricity and water The main bathroom is set up with two water systems one fresh water and one with well water. All water is bought to the property by small fishing boat from Lombok in the unlikely event the water cannot timeously be delivered the guest will need to use the well water. The delays can be due to the tides being too low and the delivery boat not being able to get over the reef or the seas being too rough. Please water is too be used sparingly! Electricity has only been on the island for the last 4 years! There is a main generator on the island -but service is occasionally interrupted and when the power goes out IT GOES OUT when the island is very busy sometimes the island s generator cannot cope with the spike of usage.one of the joys of being on a remote island with beach paths and no transportation. We do not have an emergency generator on the property and make no apologies if the power goes out this is all part of island life. If your holiday is booked and it is to revolve around fresh water & power please do not think about making a booking on any of the 3 islands as services are not guaranteed Gili Meno is very much grass roots with very little development this will not be your type of holiday embrace simplicity as there are few places in this world that are easy to access where you can still have have a remote experience with out being too remote and that are still pretty basic.
