Destination Southampton was established 15 years ago, located in the heart of Southampton the dedicated conference and event team represent the city at a national and international level to support conference and event organisers from all over the world with their venue, hotel and event requirements. Our services to conference and event organisers includes venue finding and negotiations, arranging site visits, assistance with transport, production, audio visual, private dining, accommodation, registration, on site event management and much more. Proudly we work closely with Southampton & Region Hoteliers Association, Business South, Hampshire Chamber of Commerce, Southampton City Council, Tourism South East and Marketing Southampton. There are a number of marketing opportunities for venues, suppliers and hotels to get involved with our 2016 marketing plans. Great marketing opportunities for Venues, Suppliers and Hotels. Destination Southampton Conference & Event Business We are presenting an opportunity for you to be included in the 2016 Venue Guide to Southampton and the Solent Region, and to be represented on our website. The guide includes information on the city, our heritage and innovations, our suppliers and most importantly our fabulous hotels and venues. Hampshire Conference Bureau Hampshire Conference Bureau has been established to provide a dedicated venue finding service for domestic and international conference organisers wanting to host an event within the county. The bureau, delivered by Destination Southampton and in partnership with Hampshire County Council, showcases all the county has to offer. Hotel Accommodation Be included in our online accommodation listing and our allocation proposals for major events. We receive enquiries throughout the year for accommodation, linked to events and conferences. Cruise Accommodation The tourist information office and support to cruise passengers provision was closed at Southampton City Council in We are proud to be supporting and assisting cruise passengers with hotel accommodation enquiries and packages including parking, transfers and visitor information as an additional area to our business. Exhibitions Continuing our mission of promoting the region at exhibitions throughout the year, we are including the option to stand share with us at International Confex, The Meetings Show and Office in Venue Movie Offer Destination Southampton is offering a special introductory offer on video packages in partnership with Robin Creative Media, a leading video production company based in Hampshire. Customers in our internet age will often rather watch a 2 minute video than read several pages of a website or brochure. If you choose to have a video, this will be actively promoted on Destination Southampton s YouTube Channel, social media and the website.
