2 Trip Itinerary Day 1 - Bangkok to Phuket, Thailand Oh my Thai! It's Bangkok time. Meet the group, but don't get too comfortable, we're soarin' and flyin' to Phuket today. Settle in, then dive head first into a welcome dinner with the group. Yum! -Dinner Day 2 - Phuket Start your morning with an optional trip to Coral Island & Racha Island. Any guesses what we'll find here? That's right - coral reefs that will make your jaw drop. If that wasn't enough, we've got flawless beaches and white sand for you to soak up. Got problems? Not in the ocean. Paddle in its calm waters and enjoy. If you prefer to stay on the mainland, go forth and explore artsy coffee shops, eccentric local galleries and bright textiles stores. Shop until the sun goes down. Optional Activities: -Full day Coral Island and Racha Island by speedboat -Phi Phi Island by speedboat -Chalong Bay Rum Masterclass half day Day 3 - Phuket to Krabi The Ao Thalane canyons and coves are calling for a kayaking sesh (optional). Grab your paddle (and coconut) then make waves. Optional Activities: -Kayaking at Ao Thalane Day 4 - Krabi Can you say para-para-paradise? Look up and around - you're here baby! After you've got your bearings in and around town, how about a beach sesh? If that doesn't cut it, take an optional full day Poda 4 Islands tour by speedboat. Later, climb to a rooftop café if time allows and watch the sun go down. -Full day Poda tour by speedboat Day 5 - Krabi to Koh Phi Phi Majestic and relaxed Koh Phi Phi is all yours today as we love and leave Krabi behind us. With no cars on the island, Koh Phi Phi is a walking

3 haven to explore and get lost in. Make the most of those beach vibes or set foot in the quirky town for souvenirs and goodies to take home. Day 6 - Koh Phi Phi Today, take an optional speedboat excursion to Koh Yao Noi Island before returning for some chill out time. Make the most of your last day here, you'll miss it when it's gone. -Dinner -Speedboat excursion to Koh Yao Noi Island Day 7 - Koh Phi Phi to Phuket Wave buh-bye to Koh Phi Phi and touch down into the bustle of Bangkok. Watch the city sparkle as you roam the streets. Day 8 - Bangkok, Thailand Explore like a Bangkokian (it's a word) and get your culture fix today at your own pace. Later, watch the city sparkle as you zip through the streets on an included street eats tour. Mode of transport? Tuk tuk, duh! -Bangkok street eats tour -Dinner Day 9 - Bangkok to Chiang Mai More love for the capital today as we tick off the Bangkok bucket list. A half day city tour is on the cards. Tonight, it's all about the overnight train. Get comfy and catch some zzz's. -Guided tour of Bangkok Day 10 - Chiang Mai Another mode of transport to tick off. 4 -Khan Toke Village cultural show Day 11 - Chiang Mai Free day alert! How about an optional cooking class? Learn from local legends then brag about your new-found skills later. For the adrenaline seekers, unleash your inner monkey with an optional Flight of the Gibbon treetop adventure. -Flight of the Gibbon treetop adventure -Thai cooking class Day 12 - Chiang Mat to Chiang Rai Be inspired by the best handful of temples on offer today. It's all about the Wat Rong Khun 'White Temple' and the Golden Triangle. Accommodation We endeavour to select a combination of good quality hotels, hostels and guesthouses (where you actually stay will depend on your trip) that reflects the character of the local area. The accommodation is also as centrally located as possible. We strive to keep the cost as affordable as possible. Your trip will stay in a range of accommodation. Hotels are three and four-star quality. Guesthouses are basic, yet comfortable, and hostels are clean and modern. Please be aware that some rooms, especially those in major urban centres or older cities, may be smaller than what you are used to in other parts of the world. Standards and ratings may also be different to your home country. Rooms are en-suite and twin where possible and will depend on what you have booked. If you are a solo traveller, you will always be sharing a room with someone of the same sex.

5 If you are travelling as a couple and would prefer to have a double bed, please officially request a double room with your travel agent or Topdeck Customer Service Consultant. We never presume that two people travelling together are a couple, even if you share the same surname, unless informed otherwise. Optional Activities On all trips we have arranged extra activities that we think will enhance your travel experience, but you have a choice as to whether or not you will participate. These are not included in the cost of your trip. They are usually organised on a group participation basis and should be taken into consideration when budgeting your spending money. None of the Optional Activities on your trip are operated by Topdeck, nor do they form part of your contract with Topdeck for your trip. Topdeck arranges the activity as an agent of the local supplier. Should you participate in any Optional Activities your contract will be with the local supplier and their conditions will apply. We aim to make sure that breakfasts are included every morning in the accommodation (except on the first morning). They are usually 'continental breakfasts', which are typical in most countries. A typical breakfast may consist of cereals with milk or yoghurt, bread, croissants, cold meats, cheese and a range of spreads, with fruit juice, tea or coffee to drink. It is rare to get a hot breakfast in Asia. Though, on some

6 occasions, there may be some hot food available as well. Please bear in mind that food varies across each country we visit in Asia. Included evening meals are in local restaurants or in the included accommodation. In most cases, table water is provided with the meals and if you wish to purchase additional drinks you can do so at your own expense. If you have any dietary requirements, we will make every effort to cater to your specific needs as long as you advise your travel agent or Topdeck Customer Service Consultant when you book. You can also make note of your requirements in the Topdeck app when you check in (refer below). Please be aware that although we will do everything in our power, we cannot guarantee that every restaurant we eat in will be able to cater to all of your dietary needs, particularly in Asia. Also, we cannot cater for tastes or dislikes, as most of our included evening meals feature a set menu. No Tip Necessary Your Topdeck crew never expect tips themselves and will not ask for any. However, we recommend a 10 tip for each Katerina Lines crew member. Get it for iphone Get it for Android Passenger safety One of the best parts of travelling is experiencing the nightlife and entertainment each city has to offer. However, amidst the fun and excitement, it s important to be aware of your surroundings and personal safety as well. Before you hit the road with us, it s important to be aware of the following: When you re on a night out, remember to avoid walking alone, particularly through deserted areas like beaches and back streets. Always stick together, take a taxi where possible, and keep a note of your accommodation details so you can find your way back to your fellow Topdeckers if you become separated. In some countries, alcoholic measures can be considerably larger than what you may be used to. Try to keep track of what you re drinking, and if you see one of your trip mates looking a little worse for wear, take them back to your accommodation. Be cautious when accepting drinks from strangers and never leave your drink unattended. It s also important to be aware that what you might consider harmless flirting may be interpreted differently in some countries. Be yourself

7 and have fun, but don t be naïve, and be mindful of the signals you are sending out so that you don t find yourself in an uncomfortable situation.
