Follow track to Brown s Hill MTB bikes please. Watch that hill! 22km B - C (unsealed/tracks) 1.30pm 3 Bundaleer Forest, visit the State s first radiata pine forest and return 18km A (bitumen) 2.00pm 4 Caltowie A quaint historic township and return 24km B (bitumen) 2.30pm 5 Jamestown Hubert Wilkins Visitors Centre via Belalie Creek St 3km A (bitumen) 6.00pm 7.00pm 8.30pm Evening meal - families with young children are especially invited to dine first. 3 SATURDAY 15 APRIL 2017 All distances are approximate 7.00am to Breakfast 9.00am 8.00am 6 Laura via Bundaleer Forest & Mawson Trail and return All day ride to whet the appetite of MTB riders & their fat tyres! 77km B-C (unsealed/mawson Trail) 8.30am 7 Jamestown to Hallett for the roadies and return via Old Canowie 80km B (bitumen) 9.00am 8 Stone Hut via Caltowie and return via Laura Morning tea and/or lunch at the Stone Hut Bakery - 71km B (mainly bitumen with15km unsealed) 9.15am 9 Bundaleer Forest and explore Maple, Sculpture and/or Conservator s walk 18km (does not include the walks) A (unsealed) 9.30am 10 Jamestown to Gladstone (and historic Gladstone Goal) and return by same route 56km B (bitumen) 10.00am 11 Brown s Hill Ride past pumping station and on to Brown s Hill Rd. Follow track to Brown s Hill MTB bikes please. Watch that hill! 22km B-C (unsealed/tracks) 10.30am 12 Appila Springs via Bottrall Drive & Yarrowie Rd return via Caltowie 56km B (unsealed) 11.00am 13 Appila Springs on the bitumen and return to Jamestown 64km B (bitumen) 1.30pm 14 Caltowie A quaint historic township and return 24km B (bitumen) 2.00pm 15 Jamestown to Golf Club and return 20km A (unsealed) 6.00pm 7.30pm Evening meal - families with young children are especially invited to dine first. 4 SUNDAY 16 APRIL 2017 All distances are approximate 7.30am to Breakfast 9.00am 7.45am 16 Gulnare, via Caltowie, & Gladstone and return one for the roadies 120km B (bitumen) 8.00am 17 Spalding & return via Mawson Trail MTB bikers all day ride via Belalie Rd East 72km B-C (unsealed roads/tracks) 8.30am 18 Children s Easter Egg Hunt Ride to a secret location and hunt for those Easter eggs that have been well hidden the Easter Egg team 2km A (bitumen and/or unsealed paths) 8.45am 19 Windfarm An opportunity to have a close look at these unique wind generators. Left at Old Canowie. Return east to Mayfield Rd, right into Belalie Rd, East at 14km and left into Kelly Rd for 3km & right into Cronin Rd to Jamestown 47km B (unsealed) 9.00am 20 Bundaleer Forest return via Neindorf Rd, Moore Rd, Valley Rd & Miltowie Rd back to Jamestown 30km B (unsealed) 9.30am 21 Stone Hut Bakery via Caltowie The Bakery will be a welcome stop before returning to Jamestown 62km B (bitumen) 9.45am 22 Mannanarie Cycle Trail Option of 2 loops from the Southern Flinders Ranges plains through the Mannanarie agricultural area to Mt Lock and return. 54km/55km B-C (bitumen/unsealed) 10.30am 23 Whyte Yarcowie and return 56km B (bitumen) 1.30pm 24 Caltowie A quaint historic township and return 24km B (bitumen) 2.00pm 25 Jamestown Hubert Wilkins Visitors Centre via Belalie Creek St 3km A (bitumen) 5.30pm Evening meal - families with young children are especially invited to dine first. (Please have your meal tickets ready) 8.30pm 26 Family Night Ride Come and join the bright twinkling bicycle snake as we ride around the town. Lights are essential and must be firmly fixed to bicycles. Prize for the brightest glow in the dark. In the interests of safety, ride 2 abreast only if safe to do so and please comply with the road rules, even at night. 5km A
