The plan divided Manassas into six sectors, one of which, the Mathis Avenue Sector, is considered to be the City s key commercial and residential district and an important gateway into Manassas. The Mathis Avenue Sector Plan, a 30-year vision for the future, calls for the development of a productive and vibrant commercial district that continues to provide a steady and increasing tax base for the City.
