2 ASSOCIATION Russian Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (RAAPA) was founded in At present, RAAPA is the biggest social organization, which unites 250 companies and amusement industry facilities of Russia, the CIS and foreign countries. The members of the Association are: parks, entertainment centers, water parks, culture and leisure complexes, manufacturers of amusement rides and entertainment equipment, social unions, national associations and other amusement industry enterprises. The Association was established with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Russian Federation in order to develop the entertainment industry in Russia, improve safety and production of amusement park equipment and improve the quality of public recreation. RAAPA is the co-founder of European Association of Amusement Supplier Industry (EAASI); the member of International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA). Over 17 years, RAAPA holds special events for professionals of cultural and entertainment industry.

3 EXHIBITIONS RAAPA EXPO Amusement rides Organization and holding of International amusement industry exhibitions Since , RAAPA holds International Exhibitions of amusement rides, entertainment equipment and services for the industry under the brand «RAAPA EXPO». The spring exhibition «Amusement Rides and Entertainment Equipment RAAPA EXPO» is by far the largest exhibition of amusement industry in Russia, the CIS and Eastern Europe; one of the five most prestigious amusement industry exhibitions. Since 2007, the Association also holds annual Moscow International Exhibition «RAAPA EXPO Autumn». Over 200 exhibitors from over 20 countries of the world participate in the exhibitions annually. Among them, all leading Russian manufacturers of amusement rides and entertainment equipment, as well as amusement industry world leaders. RAAPA EXPO covers almost all areas of the modern entertainment industry: amusement rides, entertainment equipment and devices,

4 EXHIBITIONS 3D-5Dcinema and interactive simulators, video games, kiddie playgrounds, sports and playground equipment, arcade, admission systems and management of entertainment center, trampolines and inflatable rides, equipment for water parks, bowling, billiards, vending and prize machines, project planning services for parks, water parks and entertainment centers, training of personnel, organization of festive events, landscape design of parks, etc. Annually, RAAPA EXPO is visited by over 8000 specialists from all over the world: directors of parks, entertainment centers, water parks, family entertainment complexes, representatives of local administrations, private entrepreneurs, etc. Owing to the large number of professional visitors, exhibitors can quickly make contracts for purchase and delivery of entertainment equipment with companies from different regions of Russia and foreign countries. 6 STANDARTIZATION RAAPA provides development and implementation of standards and other normative documents designed for the provision of safety of amusement rides visitors and amusement equipment manufacture. By RAAPA initiative, a fundamental standard GOST R «Safety of Amusement Rides» was developed and implemented, as well as a draft of the Technical regulation of the Customs Union «On Safety of Amusement Rides». The Association actively takes part in the work of the ISO International Committee/TC 254 «Safety of Amusement Rides and Entertainment Devices», of the European Committee on Standardization (CEN), and the Committee on F-24 ASTM Standards (the USA). Besides, RAAPA participates in the development of Government regulations drafts in the sphere of the state policy of public leisure organization. 7 MAGAZINE Meeting with the top-management of «Flamingo» amusement park (Kyrgyzstan) Publication of the informational and advertising magazine «Attractions and Entertainments» Informational and advertising magazine «Attractions & Entertainments» is a professional specialized publication covering the amusement industry. Topical issues of entertainment business development and organization, safety and legal issues are discussed in the magazine, reports on the best amusement parks and family entertainment centers, reports about international trade shows and other important events of amusement industry, information about amusement rides and entertainment equipment novelties; statistics on putting into operation new entertainment facilities in Russia and worldwide. The magazine is distributed free of charge among amusement industry specialists. The magazine s online version is available on the website:

8 PERSONNEL TRAINING In 2005, Russian Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions established the Education Center, which has been dealing with training and certification of amusement industry personnel. Training of the specialists is held along the course: «Technical regulations. Safety and efficiency of amusement rides and entertainment devices operation». In this course, the attendees study major subjects in the amusement industry: organization of safe operation of amusement rides; work with personnel; legal grounds of the entertainment business; basics of labor protection; increase of profitability of amusement industry enterprises, etc. The lecturers are the leading specialists in Russian amusement industry: engineers, lawyers, labor protection experts, specialists in the sphere of marketing, management and promotion. Over 7 years of its operation, RAAPA Education Center has trained more than 700 specialists of amusement parks, FECs, water parks, oversight staff from 71 regions and 180 cities of Russia and the CIS countries (Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Estonia, Uzbekistan). 9 CONFERENCES Workshop on animation programs organization Plenary session Organization and holding of international conferences and seminars Organization and holding of international conferences and seminars on topical amusement industry issues - one of the initial activities of RAAPA. Conferences are held in the format of seminars, business trainings, round tables, workshops, briefings, plenary sessions, etc. Leading Russian and foreign experts and specialists of amusement industry make presentations. Among the topics discussed at the conferences: safety of amusement rides and playgrounds; increasing of amusement industry enterprises economic efficiency; entertainment business organization; current trends of amusement industry development; effective management of amusement parks, arcades, FECs, etc. The conferences are held within the frames of RAAPA EXPO international exhibitions. Annually, more than 400 amusement industry specialists participate in them.

10 SUMMER FORUM «Summer Forum of amusement industry specialists» is a new annual event of Russian Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions. The format of the event aims to let industry professionals be able to see in action the work of the most successful institutions of cultural and leisure sphere during the summer season, let them meet with colleagues from other regions, ask authoritative experts and entertainment business specialists their questions. The purpose of holding Summer Forum to draw attention to amusement industry in the regions, to increase the interest and attractiveness of Russian regions as places for recreation and tourism among the population, to summarize the experience of successful work of amusement industry enterprises aiming at further development of the industry. The first RAAPA Summer Forums were held in Voronezh (2012) and Yaroslavl (2013). Each of them was attended by over 100 participants from 30 cities of Russia, the CIS countries and Europe. The purpose of the tours is familiarization of Russian specialists with international work experience of the leading amusement industry enterprises, with the latest developments and models of entertainment equipment and amusement rides machinery. RAAPA annually participates in the international exhibitions: IAAPA Attractions Expo, Orlando, the USA Euro Attractions Show, Europe Asian Attractions Expo, Asia EAG International, London, the UK ATRAX EXPO, Istanbul, Turkey DEAL, Dubai, the UAE and others.
