3 Saturday, July 26 9:30 AM Hines Park Bikeway Ride RSVP to Sue Dugan via at or The full ride will start at the head of the Rouge Gateway Trail and end at Station 885 Restaurant in Plymouth for lunch. This is about 18 miles one way. Meet at the trail parking lot on Michigan Ave, on the east side of Joe Vicari's Andiamo Italian Steakhouse (between Evergreen and Oakwood) at 9:30. For those who would like a shorter ride, you can park in the Hines Park Warrendale lot. Starting time 10 AM. (Directions: I-94 to Telegraph North and turn East onto Warren Road. Then turn North on Hines Drive Service Road, which is open to Warrendale This will give you a medium length ride of approx. 13 miles each way. For the shortest ride, approx. 6 miles, join the group at Nankin Mill at 10:30 AM The barricades will be up to prevent cars driving on Hines Drive but I think you are allowed to drive around them to go the little ways to the parking at Nankin Mill. Here are the directions from their internet site: The mill is located on Ann Arbor Trail between Merriman Road (on the east) and Wayne Road (on the west). It can also be reached via Hines Drive. The mill lies 1/8 mile east of Farmington Road. (Note: Farmington Road does not go through to Hines Drive/Ann Arbor Trail from the south. Use Wayne Road or Merriman instead.) There are two parking lots for Nankin Mill. A small lot can be found on Ann Arbor Trail. The main parking lot for the mill is located off of Hines Drive. Note: When Hines Drive is closed due to flooding and the gate is up, visitors to the mill or the Nankin Mill Picnic Area are permitted to drive around the barricades. You must RSVP for this ride so that we will know if we will be picking you up at one of the secondary spots and how many will be eating at the restaurant. 3
