Each field is designed symmetrically after a legendary professional ballpark Polo Grounds, Ebbets Field, Griffith Field, Crosley Field and more. At each field a large sign explains that field s historical significance to the game and gives each visitor a brief history lesson. At The Ripken Experience - Myrtle Beach, each baseball field features a popular synthetic playing surface used by many professional and collegiate teams worldwide. Consistent play, elimination of rain outs and the reduction of the risk for injuries, are among the many benefits of this synthetic playing surface. Each diamond is equipped with lights for night games. The fields have covered dugouts, professional quality bullpen mounds adjacent to the field, water and Gatorade products are provided in the dugouts during all games. Digital scoreboards are utilized on each 90-foot diamond.

The food court features the Big League Grill for drinks, snacks and hot meals. Additionally, the Shortstop Sub Shop offers a variety of cold subs and salads. The Retail Shop offers a wide variety of Under Armour apparel, novelties and souvenir for players, coaches and spectators to enjoy. The entire building is air conditioned, includes large-screen televisions featuring MLB.TV and contains Wi-Fi for customers to relax and enjoy the ballpark atmosphere.

At River Oaks Resort, located adjacent to River Oaks Golf Plantation and the prestigious World Tour Golf Links, players and coaches are treated to fantastic golf course views from private balconies in every vacation condo. Convenience is never an issue during a stay at River Oaks Resort, with all vacation condos featuring modern amenities like multiple TV s, full-service kitchens and washer / dryer combinations. Players and Coaches will stay in fully furnished 2 bedroom/2 bathroom units (each bedroom has 2 beds).
