13 Company Company is a borough wide community arts project which offers a wide range of activities from hop-picking reminiscence sessions to fruit harvest trips, cordial and lemonade making workshops and farm visits. They offer weekly workshops and events at their new centre in Barking Park and other venues around the borough, including talks and film screenings, make your own healthy drinks workshops and picking trips to the local parks. For more information and event details visit or contact Kathrin, Cam, Tracky, Pip or Oribi on About: Until 60 years ago thousands of east Londoners travelled to farms in Kent each summer for a working holiday picking hops. What would happen if Londoners today grew and harvested crops, produced drinks and set-up their own company? This is what the Company project has been set up to do. Developed by the artist group Myvillages and led by artist Kathrin Böhm, the project will establish a self-sustaining community drinks co-operative in Barking and Dagenham, owned and run by local residents. The project is open to everyone in Barking and Dagenham. Ageing Well Programme 2018 to
