In 1869 she was married to Riley Andrus. They had seven children, of whom the following survive: Alva Andrus of Gaston, Orvai Andrus of Monmouth, Mrs. Eloise Miller of Gaston, Nelson Andrus of Roseburg, Mrs. J. A. Wakefield of Dayton and Mrs.

6 Myrtle Thomas of Portland. Mrs. Andrus had been a member of the Christian church for more than 40 years. They came to Dayton from Roseburg in Funeral services were held at the Christian church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock conducted by the Rev. L. G. Parks. Burial was in the I. O. O. F. cemetery." [The Telephone Register, McMinnville, Oregon, Friday, July 27, 1928] "Riley Andrus--On April 3, 1920, Riley Andrus of Dayton departed this life at the age of 90 years and 29 days. He had lived in the county 16 years. He was a native of NY. He is survived by his wife and three sons and three daughters. Burial was on April 5, with services conducted at the residence by Rev. E.
