2 A GLOBAL DESTINATION Yas Island is one of UAE s premier event and leisure destinations with an ambition to be globally renown event location by To meet this ambition, Miral Asset Management is pleased to introduce the inaugural event sponsorship window which will be open from May 21 to June 25, 2017 for events taking place between January 1, 2018 and December are eligible to apply for sponsorship consideration. This document outlines the details of the sponsorship window.

6 YAS ISLAND S EVENT HISTORY Yas Island has a proud history of hosting world-class events ranging from the FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX to concerts such as Madonna, Andrea Bocelli and Coldplay.

7 APPLICATION PROCESS The Yas Island sponsorship window will be open from May 21 to close on June 25, 2017 with events held between January 1, 2018 and December 31, The sponsorship window will be a two-step process: Step one: Application process Event organisers visit to complete the sponsorship application form. Step two: Event proposal By invitation, organisers invited to submit a detailed event concept proposal.

8 EVENT SPONSORSHIP OBJECTIVES Miral is seeking events which will be held on Yas Island and deliver one or more of the following outcomes: 1. ECONOMIC IMPACT: Generate economic impact on Yas Island by driving overnight visitation and event related expenditure. 2. SOCIAL IMPACT: Attract local attendees to Yas Island building a sense of community, celebrating our cultural diversity and bringing world-class experiences. 3. BROADCAST EXPOSURE: Secure guaranteed broadcast or media coverage in our key domestic and/or international markets.

9 PORTFOLIO OBJECTIVES In addition to the event sponsorship objectives, the following attributes will be taken into consideration when finalising the event portfolio: Portfolio alignment How does this event align with the portfolio Distinctive/uniquness of concept Is this concept distinctive/unique Timing Does this concept help address seasonality Event timings How does this event align with the event calendar Yas Island integration opportunity Does this provide an opportunity to integrate with our YI assets Event frequency Is this a one off event or annual Organiser experience What is the level of prior event experience of the organiser
