These days you re just as likely to visit this superbly restored fun-park to catch a concert at the Big Top, eat classy cuisine at The Deck or take in the million dollar views as you are to ride the Tango Train or Ferris Wheel, as folks have been doing since Now as then, Luna Park is JUST FOR FUN. The whole of Luna Park is easily accessible by all guests. Luna Park is easy to get to by all modes of transport from all parts of NSW. We also have 389 parking spaces onsite.

10 LUNA PARK - VENUE GUIDELINES Please be aware of the following requirements which must be adhered to when holding an event at Luna Park: Luna Park is a sensitive site under strict guidelines and regulations set by the NSW Government and North Sydney Council and the Hirer must abide by the instructions given by LPS s representative. Public Liability Cover A current Public Liability insurance cover for not less than $20 million for each Event. Catering & Liquor service All catering is to be organised through the Park s exclusive caterers. Minimum numbers for catering are required 14 days prior to the event. LPS and the Caterer support the Responsible Service of Alcohol policy and LPS reserves the right to refuse the service of alcohol to anyone displaying behaviour which may pose a risk to themselves and/or others. Noise No amplified sound is to be used in the outdoor areas of the Park. Any amplified sound must not exceed 60dba at the nearest residence. LPS reserves the right to lower this limit should it receive complaints which might affect its ability to hold events in the future. Smoking NO SMOKING is allowed in any of the venue rooms or rides at Luna Park. However smoking is permitted in the outdoor areas of the Park, including the decks at either end of the Crystal Palace. Bump in/out The Hirer and its contractors, agents, etc may only bump in at the time(s) agreed to by LPS. Bump out must be completed within two hours of the completion of the event. Should bump out take longer than the time agreed there will be a minimum charge of $275 per hour or part thereof or if the Venue is the Big Top a minimum charge of $550 per hour or part thereof. Rides Smoking or drinking is NOT permitted on rides. Patrons must always obey the instructions of the ride operator. There are height restrictions on some rides. Visitors wearing open-toed shoes cannot go on the Wonky Walks or Turkey Trot. Equipment installation/ Decoration All sound, lighting, staging and theming running sheets must be forwarded for approval by LPS 14 days prior to the event. Glitter bombs, confetti bombs, etc are not to be used. No nails, adhesive tapes, fastenings, etc may be used. Blue tac is permitted but permission must be given by LPS s representative. Any electrical work must be carried out by the in-house electrician, for which work an hourly fee will apply. The driver of any vehicle inside the rooms will be responsible for any damage to flooring. Neither LPS nor the Caterer is responsible for any items, equipment, etc left at the conclusion of an event. Parking No vehicles can enter the Park at any time without LPS s permission. No vehicles can be in the Park when it is open to the public or during an event (held by the Hirer or any other party) and all vehicles must be removed at least half an hour prior to the commencement of an event. Use of the Luna Park loading dock is available by prior arrangement. Use of the Luna Park car park will be at the Hirer s own cost.

11 Venue Fee Hire is for a specific venue within Luna Park and does not give any exclusivity to the Hirer for any other areas of the Park. Other venues/rides will be hired out at LPS s discretion. If any outside areas are required for drinks, etc an additional charge will apply. The venue fee is for the times noted in the contract. The Hirer acknowledges that LPS may suffer damages as result of the event going overtime and so may be required to pay an additional fee, the minimum being $275 per hour or part thereof or $550 per hour or part thereof if the Venue is the Big Top. The venue fee does not include unless effect lighting, sound systems, etc Security Venue security is required for all functions and events and is charged at of $43.00 /hour per guard. Deposits/ Cancellation An event is not confirmed until payment of the deposit and bond is paid. The deposit is non-refundable if the event is cancelled. If an event is cancelled, cancellation fees as specified in the Hire Contract are payable.
