7 Maintain mowing/landscaping for all parks, public storm water management ponds, water treatment plants, pumping stations, water tanks, dam spillways, conservations areas, sewer easement areas, police pistol range, airport, and various city owned properties Trash removal from parks minimum of 3 times per week Maintain a 7 10 day mowing schedule throughout the season Provide special event support, storm clean-up, and the Christmas tree recycling program Provide snow removal at city owned facilities, parking lots, sidewalks, and park pathways Maintain street and park trees

9 Nearly 3,000 members at the Talley Fitness Center Over 12,000 park and facility rentals Provided support processing 51 Parade, Walk, Race Permits Nearly 40,000 participants in programs, camps, classes, and pool attendance Currently operating facility and programming operations at 8 sites throughout the city Talley, Trinity, Lincoln ES, Whittier ES, Butterfly Ridge ES, Thomas Johnson MS, Thomas Pool, and Diggs Pool Over 26,000 rounds of golf to date in FY 19 Nearly 300 youth rounds and youth camp/clinic participants at the golf course to date in FY 19 Attendance of more than 250,000 for the 11 special events operated by the Office of Special events on an annual basis

10 New swing installation at Baker Park and South End Park, as well as a spiral slide replacement at Wetherburne Park 1,500 cubic yards of safety mulch added to playgrounds throughout the city Initiated invasive species removal program in Rock Creek stream valley on west side of city 1,500 trees pruned through the preventative maintenance program 475 trees treated for Emerald Ash Borer

11 Completed sidewalk repairs at Staley Park and Amber Meadows Park Replaced park pavilions at Baugmans Park and Valley Street Park Completed field improvements at Riverwalk and Taskers Chance baseball fields Completed flood recovery efforts and obtained $25,000 in FEMA reimbursement Added security cameras at Mullinix Park

12 Expanded program offerings to include Teen Trips, Frederick Youth Writers, Adult Kickball, and Indoor Tennis Increased programming throughout the city by adding fitness classes to the satellite sites Continued efforts to collaborate with local nonprofits and Friends of Groups to bring forth opportunities for additional park amenities and activities Sophie and Madigan s Playground Frederick Bocce National Park Service Friends of Carroll Creek Park Friends of Mullinix Park Friends of Baker Park Friends of Waterford Park

13 Opened Butterfly Ridge ES Recreation Center, providing a location to expand programming for residents on the west side of the city Expanded Reduced Pool Admission Fee Program to include 322 youth and 148 chaperones for the summer of 2018 Installation of new dive platform and new diving boards at the Thomas Pool for the summer of 2019 Reduced Registration Program experienced record gains with - 62 Youth Sports participants 31 Summer Playground Program participants 10 Other program participants (karate/youth writing/misc. offerings)
