1 2016 RACES AND EVENTS CITY OF LAKEWOOD Sat. 4/16 EAGLES ON FOOT RUN Sat. 4/23 HERMES 10 MILER 8am- 11am Saturday April 23, 2016, at 0830 hours. The first runners should be arriving in Lakewood at about 0840 hours. Runners start at Edgewater Park. They will enter Lakewood WB on Lake at W.117th. Officers should attempt to restrict them to the WB lanes. They continue to Kenneth. The runners will turn around at Kenneth. On the return trip, runners will be in the EB lanes of Lake. They will follow Lake Road back out of the city into Cleveland. Sun. 5/1 AMBULANCE CHASE 8am-10:30am Western route from Lakewood Park- WB from Belle and Lake to Clifton Road, turning at the island south on Clifton Rd to Clifton, east on Clifton to Webb, north on Webb to Lake and east on Lake to the Park.

2 Sun. 5/15 RITE AID MARATHON 6:15am- 2pm Runners start at W. Superior Ave. and W. 3rd street in Cleveland. They enter Lakewood. W/B on Lake at W.117th. Officers will restrict runners to the to the E/B lanes of Lake Rd. (south side of street). They continue to N/B Webb, to Lake Rd W/B to Clifton and W/B over the Clifton Bridge, west into Rocky River. On the return trip, runners will use the reverse route. Runners will be in the W/B lanes of the Clifton Bridge. They will turn N/B onto Lake, just east of the Clifton Bridge, to S/B Webb, to Lake and follow Lake E/B, in the W/B Lanes. (North side of street) When the runners reach W. 117th, as they proceed E/B, they will turn N/B on W. 117th and exit Lakewood E/B at Edgewater. Sat. 5/21 PIER W RUN 9am-11:30am From Lakewood Park, westbound on Lake to Abbieshire, to Edgewater, west to Summit, south to Lake, westbound to Kenneth, north to Edgewater, west to Webb, South on Webb to Lake, east on Lake back to Lakewood Park. Mon. 5/30 JAGUAR JOG 8:30am-10:30am Entering Lakewood from Cleveland on Riverside Drive to Narragansett, east on Narragansett to Niagara, north on Niagara to Lakewood Hts., west on Lakewood Hts. to Riverside, south on Riverside and back out of the city.

3 Sat. 6/11 Nature s Bin Run 8:30am-10:30am From Lakewood Park, westbound on Lake to Abbieshire, north to Edgewater, west to Summit, south to Lake, westbound to Kenneth, north to Edgewater, west to Webb, South on Webb to Lake, east on Lake back to Lakewood Park. Sat. 7/9 SUMMER MELTDOWN 2:30pm-10pm Detroit Avenue from Marlowe to Mars (NOTE: Warren Rd. will be open for north and southbound traffic). At approximately 2000 hours, Detroit between Warren & Mars can be opened to vehicle traffic after the street is cleaned Sat. 7/9 MELTDOWN 5K RUN 6pm-7:30pm North on Belle from Detroit to eastbound Lake Rd. North on Nicholson to Cliff Dr. West on Cliff to Wilbert. South on Wilbert to Edgewater. West on Edgewater to Lakewood Park entrance. Out of the park southbound on Belle back to start point. Sat. 8/6 LAKEWOOD ARTS FESTIVAL 5:30am-9:30pm Detroit Avenue from Marlowe Ave to Elmwood Ave (NOTE: Warren Rd. will be open for north and southbound traffic). Gladys, Cook, and St. Charles Avenues north from Detroit to the Muni Lot. Belle Ave south of Detroit to Franklin. Sat. 9/10 WINE AND CRAFT BEER FESTIVAL 3pm-11pm The event will be held on the parking deck for the INA building on the west side of St. Charles, south of Detroit. St. Charles will be posted closed from Franklin to Detroit. Local Access will be allowed from the post office south to Franklin. Sat. 9/17 YOUTH CHALLENGE RUN 8:30pm-10:30pm south on Summit W/B Lake, N/B Kenneth, W/B Edgewater, S/B Webb and E/B on Lake back to the park.

4 Sun. 9/25 LAKEWOOD RANGER RUN 8am- 10:30am south on Summit W/B Lake, N/B Kenneth, W/B Edgewater, S/B Webb and E/B on Lake back to the park. Fri. 9/30 LAKEWOOD SPIRIT PARADE 5:30pm-8pm The parade units will be assembled in west driveway at Lakewood Park. The route will be from that point south to Clifton Blvd.; then east on Clifton in the east-bound lane to Bunts Rd.; south on Bunts Road to the rear of Lakewood High School. Sat. 10/15 SPOOKY POOCH PARADE 1:30pm- 2:30pm The parade route will be east out of Kauffman park onto Andrews via the access road just south of the RR tracks, south on Andrews to Detroit, east on Detroit to Cook. The parade will U-turn at Cook and head back west on Detroit to the Arthur extension where it will turn back north and into the park Sun. 10/30 PUMPKIN RUN 8:30am-1030am south on Summit, east on Lake, north on Nicholson, west on Cliff. South on Wilbert, west on Edgewater and into Lakewood Park through the east entrance off Parkside. Sat. 11/12 St. Luke Run 8:30am-10:30am south on Summit, east on Lake, north on Nicholson, west on Cliff. South on Wilbert, west on Edgewater and into Lakewood Park through the east entrance off Parkside.

5 Sat. 12/3 LIGHT UP LAKEWOOD 2:30pm-9pm Detroit Avenue from Marlowe Avenue to Arthur Avenue (NOTE: Warren Rd. will be open for north and southbound traffic). Gladys, Cook, and St. Charles Avenues north from Detroit to the Muni Lot. Belle Ave south of Detroit to Franklin. The parade will form up on Detroit between Bunts and and Parkhaven Row, and on Parkhaven Row south of Detroit and proceed west on Detroit to Arthur. Sun. 12/4 REINDEER RUN 8:30am-10:30am Western route from Lakewood Park- WB from Belle and Lake to Clifton Road, turning at the island south on Clifton Rd to Clifton, east on Clifton to Webb, north on Webb to Lake and east on Lake to the Park.
