2 oreto College offers five dedicated bus routes connecting students from north, east, south and west of, providing greater service and convenience to our students. Our modern, spacious fleet of coaches offers a safe and flexible means of transport to our students. All buses arrive at the College by 8.15am each day and depart the College at 3.45pm for the journey home. Procedures Bookings: Permanent bus bookings are charged at $275 per term (full time service) and $150 per term (am or pm service only). Casual bus tickets are also available at $84 for a 20 trip pass. We ask that all families pay direct before each term via TryBooking or through the Finance Office. Visit Be early: All students must be at their stop no later than 3-5 minutes before the designated arrival time. Running late? You must telephone the driver (please do not contact by text). Drivers are fitted with a hands free headset and can take calls but cannot access text messages. By telephoning, you can arrange a pick up further along the bus route. Afternoon Departures: The buses will not depart the College until all students on the bus roll are accounted for. Please notify the driver if a student will not be using an afternoon service. Casual Trips: All casual trips are payable in advance. A bus pass of 20 tickets can be purchased for $84 via TryBooking or through the Finance Office. Visit Students can then collect their bus pass from Student Services. It is important to provide 12 hours notice for all casual trips to ensure a place is available. Emergency: In the case of breakdown, bushfires or other emergencies, the driver or a staff member will contact parents and alternative measures will be put in place. Collection: Please ensure someone is at the designated drop off stop to meet the student. If no one is there and contact cannot be made with the parent, the student will be returned to the College premises for supervision. Booking Request Form: The booking request form can be downloaded at or bus@loreto.sa.edu.au. Routes are reviewed annually.
