2 Saturday, April 14, 2018 :: 1:30 P.M. Pipestone County Fairgrounds Show Arena Welcome... Welcome to Dandy Acres Angus 20th Annual Bull Sale! It is amazing how quickly 20 years goes by, I guess time does fly when you are having fun! We truly love this industry and are excited about this years offering. To celebrate 20 years, we have made a few minor changes to the sale. This year, we will be hosting a video sale in the show ring at the Pipestone County Fairgrounds beginning at 1:30p.m. Cattle are available for your inspection at the farm until 1pm on sale day. At that time, we will make the short drive into town for the video sale. Please join us for lunch served by the Pipestone County Cattlemen beginning at 12:30 p.m. at the fairgrounds. As in past years, we will house bulls purchased until July 1st but they will be semen tested and ready to go on sale day. Our 2018 offering includes a deep set of heifer calves as well as bred cows. We continue our work to tighten up our calving season in an effort to produce a more uniform bull crop. With that being said, the bred cows selling are not the culls - rather cows that are bred later than what is working in our breeding program today. Our loss is your gain. Video of the entire offering is available at or feel free to preview them in person on the farm. Sale updates and information can be found both on our website and our Facebook page. Cattle are available for viewing anytime at the farm, located just one mile south of Pipestone on Hwy 23. Cattle will NOT be on site at the fairgrounds. Selling approximately 15 head of bred heifers/cows or cow/calf pairs. Expected calving dates April 1 - May 31, Females range in age from 2011 to bred heifers. Both purebred and commercial cows will be offered, but all will sell as commercial. Registration papers available on registered females for an additional $300. Pedigrees will be obtainable sale day.
