In the centre of Crikvenica, there will be a fair of Slavonian souvenirs, products and delicacies, such as homemade cheese, honey, cakes, cured meats and wines. Visitors will also have the chance to taste typical Slavonian dishes and become acquainted with traditional handicrafts such as šlinga and zlatovez (gold embroidery). Traditional Slavonian tamburica music and richly decorated folk costumes will round off the day dedicated to Slavonia in Crikvenica. June 21st 21:00 Jadranovo Performance by Martin Matetić Cultural club, June 24th 08:00 Dramalj Tennis Tournament, Kačjak sports centre June 24th 18:00 Jadranovo Tuna Party, The Tuna Party is a culinary event that celebrates the tradition of tuna fishing in Jadranovo, for which this area was well-known in the past. Delicious specialities prepared with fresh tuna in various ways, good company, music and a laid-back atmosphere are the characteristics of this event. Add to this the scents, colours and sounds of the surrounding nature of this small littoral town, and a great time is guaranteed. June 24th 20:00 Crikvenica St. John s Bonfire, Balustrada beach On the Crikvenica Riviera, the tradition of lighting bonfires, which symbolises the beginning of spring, has been preserved right up to the present day. In Crikvenica, Jadranovo and Selce, bonfires are lit on Midsummer s Eve, and in Dramalj on the feast day of St. Petrus. On these occasions, local folklore associations perform traditional songs and dances of the littoral region. Visitors will have the opportunity to sample and buy local and natural produce, such as homemade cheese, honey, jam, brandy and liqueurs. Some of the stands will be offering original souvenirs and handicrafts, ideal as a gift or a memento from your holiday. All this will be accompanied by the sound of the traditional songs of the littoral area and some culinary surprises. It starts in the morning with a get-together on the waterfront with portions of fried fish, local wine and music. In the evening, there is a boat parade with a large sailing ship and specially decorated boats illuminated with lanterns and decorated with ash branches. There is also a party in the centre of the town.
