3 About Romipack 5 01 ABOUT ROMIPACK Romipack is an Argentine company with over 45 years in the market, leader in the manufacturing and sale of paper bags throughout Latin America. The investment policy executed over the last few years has positioned it as one of the region s most important firms. It has a plant with an area exceeding 17,000 sq.m. in La Cantábrica Industrial Compound (Municipality of Morón, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina), established in 2000 and equipped with the latest world-class technology available in the international market. In 2012, it opened its second manufacturing plant, the first one outside the country, located in Lampa, Santiago de Chile. This plant was opened based on a partnership with local investors, and has an area of 1,500 sq.m. allocated to production activities. Today, Romipack work team consists of 230 people, and the firm currently has 1,500 active customers, in addition to business representations in Peru, Ecuador, Uruguay and Paraguay. The ongoing training and permanent motivation of Romipack personnel allows it to offer high standards of care to both customers and suppliers, and to consolidate a climate of harmony, warmth, respect and sense of belonging to the organization on a daily basis. Ethics, transparency, trust, respect, quality, environmental care and use of the best raw materials are only some of the reasons why customers have accompanied Romipack since the very first day.
4 6 Products 7 02 PRODUCTS Customized Bags Romipack products paper bags for brands in different industries: apparel, shoe, retail, telephone and foodstuff, among others. It is a tool to promote the image of each company and a low-cost support to publicize the brand; they are moving advertisements. Moreover, they may be reused several times, thus multiplying visual contacts. Product Lines: Tierra Acuario Luna Centauro Orión Gift Bags It is the exclusive line of gift paper bags, with proprietary and internationally licensed designed, sold directly to end users. It is sold in bookstores, paper shops, party supplies shops, gift shops, supermarket, retail shops and toy stores across the country, and in different countries throughout the region. Available in different sizes, Fanpack s different proposals feature a wide array of exclusive designed renewed in every one of their collections: Plain (variety of colors: classic and trendy.) Theme (women, kids, special occasion, aesthetic, wines, etc.). Exclusive domestic and international licenses.

9 16 Technology 17 Romipack/Fanpack Paper Bags: 100 % biodegradable. Recyclable. Reusable. Produced with renewable resources. Print with water ink. Prepared with non-contaminating glue. Processed under ISO environmental standards. FSC certified (Forest Stewardship Council) 03 TECHNOLOGY The company has its own management tools, which optimize every one of their processes: S&OP- Sales & Operation Planning DPP/MPS- Master Production Schedule MRP- Material Requirement Planning VMI - Vendor Management Inventory At present, these quality and technological support requirements allow to reach a production capacity of 900 thousand bags per day, which equals 330 thousand bags per year. Romipack production plants are equipped with the world s state-of-the-art technology, high industrial performance and subject to the highest quality and environmental international standards. This technology is supported by strict compliance with production standards (ISO 9001, ISO y FSC). Ongoing personnel supervision and integrated Oracle JDE management, jointly with the permanent reinvestment policy, have positioned the company as one of the most outstanding manufacturing facilities worldwide.

11 20 Sustainability ISO FSC SUSTAIN- ABILITY One of the essential policies established by Romipack management, applicable both to its production and marketing processes, consists in using only products that behave safely, reliable and that fulfill customer needs, and that do not cause harm to the environment. Environmental conservation and protection are fundamental commitments adopted and sustained by the company with a view to maintaining a process of continuous improvement of the manufacturing products, to prevent any kind of environmental damage or pollution. This commitment to sustainability is present across all corporate levels, and every member of the company is actively engaged in complying with these policies and attaining these goals. Moreover, Romipack is one of the first sustainable companies in the country, a pioneer to become ISO certified in 2005 on environmental protectionand to get FSC certified (Forest Stewardship Council). Romipack bags are biodegradable and their production process is not contaminant. Moreover, they are certified as environmentally friendly due to the periodic audits and controls conducted by internationally certified authorities at every one of the production phases.
