How often a bus comes along a particular route. Effective Date: 7/2/18 Service reliability On-time performance Span of service Travel time The ability of buses to consistently maintain their schedule. How often buses arrive up to five minutes after the scheduled time. This is an indicator of service reliability. The time from when service begins in the morning to when it ends in the evening. The time it takes for a bus to travel from one stop to the next.
3 Service Change Overview With the support of the Public Transit dvisory Board, service changes to the neighborhood routes will take effect July 2, 18. Changes will improve on- me performance and provide more transfer opportuni es to frequent routes. We appreciate your feedback and par cipa on in the public comment process. Route Details Route 11 - Senior Center This route will travel between the nchorage Senior Center and City Hall. Frequency: 60 min. Route 21 - Mountain View This route will terminate at Northway Mall and no longer travel to downtown. It will travel in one direc on counter clockwise. It provides an opportunity to transfer to the Route 30 on Debarr Road. Frequency: 30 min. Route 31 - Northeast This route will terminate at Northway Mall and will no longer travel to downtown. It will also be realigned to travel to the Muldoon and Debarr intersec on. This will allow transfers to the Routes 10 and 30, as well as access to the Fred Meyer and Wal-Mart. Frequency: 30 min. Route 41 - Government Hill This is a new route that was formally part of the Route 11. It will travel from City Hall to the nchorage Museum, Bluff, Hollywood and Loop and return to City Hall. Frequency: 60 min. nchorrides - Premium Zone Chugiak / Eagle River This route will terminate at Northway Mall and no longer travel to downtown. It will travel in one direc on counter clockwise.
