2 CONCEPT We will start our tour in the heart of the park of the potato, where we can see a beautiful scenery of the highlands, along the lagoon Kimsacocha. In the first step, we will stop so they can present and explain us the Andean traditional agricultural practices, the hidden wealth of these ecological zones surrounded by sacred mountains; they are also wetland basins that turn in rivers and beautiful lakes. Finally we will discover this society of Lamas breeders which they handle from breeding until the natural finish product.

3 ITINERARY PARU PARU Arrival on the banks of the lagoon of KIMSACOCHA (Community of PARU PARU) BEGINNING OF THE SERVICES We will arrive on the banks of the lagoon Kimsacocha, where we will be received by some members of the community. We will make a short walk to reach the first station. They will talk about the park of the potato, its purpose, the agricultural diversity, and the importance of ecological floors, ecological boundaries... We will continue our walk to the farm of Lamas. Our guide will talk about the society, the management and economy of the breeders of Alpacas and Llamas. We will have the opportunity to observe them in their daily work with cattle. Then, with some Lamas, we will return to the centre of the community.

4 Nutritious, tasty, rich and healthy lunch, carefully prepared by the women of the community. Presentation of Andean products. After lunch, we will start our meeting with the tinting and weaving process of the community, discovering their tables iconography, and their catalog of colors, constructed from flowers, leaves and local soil. They will show us the various flowers, leaves and plants that will be used in the tinting process of wool. We will observe how the wool is transformed into great products. We will appreciate the whole process from shearing to finished product including spinning and weaving. Thus, we will discover the Andean and colonial legacy. Finally, the artisans will display their products. Those who wish may acquire some of their products, worked with the same techniques shown above.
