Azores 7 nights 3 + 1 Islands APRIL to OCTOBER 2017 SUGGESTED ITINERARY: Day 01 Origin/Ponta Delgada (São Miguel Island) Arrival to Ponta Delgada airport and transfer to the hotel**** in Ponta

Visit of the mountains of Sete Cidades, as well as the Viewpoint of Vista do Rei, where you have a breath-taking view of the lakes of Sete Cidades.

Day 03 FD Tour Ponta Delgada/ Furnas/Ponta Delgada Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Furnas trough the South Coast pass by the first city of São Miguel Vila Franca do Campo.

The lunch will be the cozido, a typical Portuguese dish specially cooked in a hole made on the hot ground. After that, we will visit the only tea plantations in Europe Gorreana Tea Factory.

3 Azores 7 nights Islands APRIL to OCTOBER 2017 SUGGESTED ITINERARY: Day 01 Origin/Ponta Delgada (São Miguel Island) Arrival to Ponta Delgada airport and transfer to the hotel**** in Ponta Delgada. Rest of the day at leisure. Day 02 FD Tour Ponta Delgada/ Sete Cidades/Lagoa do Fogo/ Ponta Delgada Breakfast at the hotel. Visit of the mountains of Sete Cidades, as well as the Viewpoint of Vista do Rei, where you have a breath-taking view of the lakes of Sete Cidades. After lunch, the tour will continue to Ribeira Grande and visit to Lagoa do Fogo, one of the most pure lakes of São Miguel. Return to Ponta Delgada. Overnight at hotel **** in Ponta Delgada. Day 03 FD Tour Ponta Delgada/ Furnas/Ponta Delgada Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Furnas trough the South Coast pass by the first city of São Miguel Vila Franca do Campo. Once in Furnas, you will have the chance to see Furnas lake and memorable fumaroles in the center of the village. The lunch will be the cozido, a typical Portuguese dish specially cooked in a hole made on the hot ground. After that, we will visit the only tea plantations in Europe Gorreana Tea Factory. Return to Ponta Delgada with a last stop in Santa Iria viewpoint. Day 04 Ponta Delgada/ Angra do Heroísmo (Terceira Island) Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer from Hotel to the airport for flight to Terceira island. Transfer from airport to the hotel. Rest of day at leisure. Overnight at hotel **** in Angra do Heroísmo Day 05 FD Tour Angra do Heroísmo/ Monte Brasil/ Praia da Vitoria/ Angra do Heroísmo Breakfast at the hotel. Departure towards Monte Brasil with scenic tour of Angra do Heroísmo. Visit to the church of São Sebastião, to observe the Frescos. Lunch in a local restaurant in the village. After lunch drive to Praia da Vitória with stop for stroll. Afterwards drive to Biscoitos, passing by Lages and Serra do Cume. Stop for wine tasting at a local wine cellar. Return to Angra do Heroísmo. Overnight at hotel **** in Angra do Heroísmo. Day 06 Angra do Heroísmo/ Horta (Faial Island) / Caldeira/ Capelinhos/ Horta Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer from the hotel to the airport for flight to Faial island. After pick-up at the airport, we will do a visit to the island with a stop at Caldeira, the central part of the island to admire its beautiful vegetation and landscape. Drive further to Capelinhos, the result of the volcanic eruption of Return to Horta for overnight at hotel ****. Day 07 FD Tour Horta/ Pico Island/ Horta Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will visit the island of Pico. Transfer from Faial (Horta) to Pico (Madalena) by ferry boat. Beginning of the tour in Madalena village. There will be a stop at Arcos do Cachorro to see this impressive rock formation. We will then follow to Misterios, to find out the early lava formations which resulted from the first eruptions. Lunch on the road and afterwards there is an optional visit to the Whalers museum. On the return back to Madalena there is a stop and visit at a handicraft exhibition and a cheese factory. Return with the ferry boat back to Horta. Overnight at hotel **** in Faial. Day 08 Horta/Origin OPCIONAL TOUR Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to airport for departure. It is time to say Adeus... WHALE WATCHING Depending on the flights, we suggest this tour on Day 01 or Day 04 In the Azores, you have the opportunity to observe 24 species of whales and dolphins throughout the year, always in the company of a professional team of skippers, biologists and lookouts. Before leaving for the sea, the guests will have a briefing on cetacean, sighting methods, safety rules and the code of ethics of whale watching in the Azores. The trip takes 2:30 to 3:00 hours. We advise to take comfortable clothes, waterproof jackets and camera.

Após o almoço na Vila do Nordeste, seguimos em direcção à Povoação, atravessando o caminho florestal da Serra da Tronqueira, ladeado por enormes criptomérias e por grandes manchas da floresta nativa Laurissilva, que termina naquela que foi a primeira povoação da nossa ilha. Day 05 FD Tour Lagoa do Fogo This tour will take you to the amazing natural reserve of Lagoa do Fogo to experiece the best of Nature. Find the most amazing views at the top of the crater's border! Experience the warm waters of the warm iron-rich Caldeira Velha waterfall and enjoy a very nice drive along the north coast of S. Miguel island with amazing views. You will have the chance to visit the local factory of pottery in Lagoa and the city of Ribeira grande Day 06 FD Tour Ponta Delgada/ Furnas/Ponta Delgada Breakfast at the hotel.
