The oasis of San Pedro de Atacama is divided into Ayllus or Ayllos (Quechua or Aymara languages). During this riding, you will see local ora, old chañares and algarrobos trees and you will see old and new adobe houses as well as endemic materials in the south of the village. Physical requirement: medium. It includes: entrance tickets, wine tasting, cocktail service and lunch. We shall visit the highest vineyard in the world where - guided by the locals - we shall enjoy a tasting of their wines. We shall then go on to Talabre at the foot of the Lascar Volcano where we walk down a canyon decorated with prehistoric art: a stopping point for the ancient llama caravans dating back to 3,600 BC. We cross the old tunnel of Quitor to get to the Moon Valley Cornices were we walk towards the highest dune. 42 42 TAMBO DEL CHASQUI EXCURSIONES 2018 RECOMMENDATIONS The excursions above meters, such as the Tatio Geysers, the High Plateau Lagoons or Tara salt at, requires acclimatization of at least 2 days from the arrival in San Pedro de Atacama. If you are going to cancel an AM excursion it must be done before 19:00 of the previous day, and before 10:00 am of the same day for PM excursions. Otherwise, you will be charged 50 % of the tour s value or in the case of having the excursions included in your program the excursion will be considered completed. * The age limits are for regular tours to heights above 4,000 m.a.s.l., it is not recommended for children under 12 years old and adults over 65, as well as there are restrictions for pregnants and certain diseases and/or medical conditions. * All regular tours require a minimum of 4 passengers, except for those passengers with ALL INCLUSIVE program. * Start and nish hours of excursions may vary according to the season of the year, con rm times at the Excursion Desk.
