3 HIDDEN LISBON HALF DAY TOUR Departing from the hotel, the group will continue for a walking tour along the narrow streets of the downtown Baixa to Rossio, one of the most beautiful squares in Lisbon, with the D. Maria II National Theatre. Stop at the Glória Funicular and where guests will be invited to take one-way lift to the top of the hill São Pedro de Alcântara viewer point. Up in the hill the guests may be called for a Port Wine Tasting. From here it will be possible to see some of the most magnificent views over Lisbon, especially of St. George's Castle and the Graça area. This wonderful vantage point will give guests a unique insight into the city that has successfully merged the old and the new. 5 MAFRA HALF DAY TOUR Departure from Lisbon towards to the region of Mafra, located 35 kilometers North of Lisbon. Formally a Roman settlement and in the 9th Century an Arab village named "Mahafra", the town of Mafra has grown up in size and importance. In the early 18th Century the town became famous for the colossal Convent that the King Dom João V ordered to be built in A visit to the Palace is included.
