Introducing the tour With this exciting tour you will discover Spain s green Basque Country, including locations in southern France and the wine region of Rioja Alavesa. Starting from Bilbao, with its famous Guggenheim Museum you will visit the idilic green basque coast including the elegant city of San Sebastian, as well as, Biarritz and Hendaya in France. The you will discover Vitoria, the Basque country capital, and the monumental medieval village of Laguardia with magnificent wineries. You will enjoy wine tasting and tour of traditional wine cellars. At Elciego, the amazing architectural work of Frank Gehry at Marques de Riscal Wine Cellar is waiting at the end. Day 1 ORIGEN - BILBAO Day 2 BILBAO Upon arrival to Bilbao Airport our representative will greet you and then transfer to the hotel. Check-in and rest of the day free to explore Bilbao, the heart of a metropolis where more than a million people live. The great architectural and infrastructure projects have been the driving force of the urban and economic regeneration of the city. The Bilbao Guggenheim Museum, the Euskalduna Centre, Norman Foster's Underground, Calatrava's airport, are all examples of the dynamism that exists in Bilbao. The city is situated in an area surrounded by a fertile landscape with forests, mountains, beaches and steep coasts. The modern transport and network of roads run to locations nearby such as the other capitals of the Basque Country - Vitoria and San Sebastián. Overnight in Bilbao. Buffet Breakfast. Today you will have the opportunity to experience the city on your own pace. Bilbao is a classic European city in every respect. A delightful riverside stroll will take you to the Old Quarter where exquisite historic buildings house innovative shops, traditional Basque restaurants and cosy bars. Bilbao is a friendly, open city where visitors are welcomed and made to feel at home. The cultural activities in Bilbao are irresistible, with two of the best art galleries in Spain, six theme museums, contemporary art exhibitions. The Guggenheim Museum is a spectacular building designed by Frank Gehry covered in titanium panels and has its own important collection, as well as sharing the largest private modern and contemporary art collection in the world with New York and Venice. The Fine Arts Museum is one of the best in Spain and has a complete art gallery with three collections: old art (El Greco, Zurbarán, Goya or Van Dyck), contemporary art (Gauguin, Bacon or Tàpies) and Basque art (Regoyos, Zuloaga or Iturrino). The Basque Museum includes Basque prehistory and archaeology; the Diocesan Museum of Religious Art and the Easter Pasos Museum hold religious works connected with Bizkaia. Gastronomy is an art in Bilbao. The city is home to prestigious restaurants which offer dishes ranging from traditional cuisine to the most avant-garde culinary creations as well as the famous pintxos (typical appetisers). Bilbao is famous for being the capital of cod, due to the wide variety of mouth-watering recipes made with this fish. If you go on for shopping in Bilbao you can discover the architectural heritage of the city whilst you enjoy the popular pintxos in one of the many taverns or cafés lining the streets. 4 La Concha Beach (San Sebastian) Wonders of Northern Spain Bilbao - Basque Coast - San Sebastian - Vitoria - Rioja Alavesa 6 Days / 5 Nights Day 3 BILBAO - BASQUE COAST (URDAIBAI BIOSPHERE RESERVE -BERMEO - GERNIKA) Day 5 BILBAO - VITORIA - RIOJA ALAVESA (LABASTIDA - LAGUARDIA) - BILBAO Buffet Breakfast. In the morning start a guided tour to the beautiful Basque Coast. First skirting the right bank of the river, leaving on the other side the industrial towns of Barakaldo, Sestao and Portugalete. Once in Getxo, we reach the famous Hanging Bridge, where we will make a short stop. In our route we pass by the imposing Castle of Butron with its 45 meters high and Mungia. From here we follow the coastal area to reach Gaztelugatze, a beautiful chapel hold on a rock and surrounded by sea. You will continue along the coast with magnificent views up to the typical fishing village of Bermeo, where we stop for a short visit. Later, you go past Mundaka and enjoy the beauty and the breathtaking views of the Uraibai Biosphere Reserve. Then We follow the path to reach the famous town of Gernika and visit the Casa de Juntas and the famous tree. Return to hotel in Bilbao and free time for lunch (not included). Afternoon walking tour of Bilbao including its Old Quarter. You will visit the Plaza Nueva, Santiago Cathedral, the Church of San Antón and the famous Ribera Market. In the afternoon, return to hotel and free time to stroll around the city on your own pace. Overnight in Bilbao. Buffet Breakfast. Departure to Vitoria, the capital of the Basque Country. Upon arrival you start a sightseeing tour of the city including a walvirgen Blanca Square (Vitoria) Ascent to Gaztelugatze king tour through the medieval center. Vitoria features the best preserved medieval quarter in the Basque Country where it is possible to find charming little corners as well as gardens, which make the city a remarkable green space, where medieval streets harmoniously intermingle with Renaissance palaces and Neoclassical churches. The nerve centre of the city is Plaza de la Virgen Blanca (the White Virgen Square). It is also the site of the church of San Miguel, which houses the image of the White Virgin, the city's patron saint. Later on, you follow the route to the wine región of Rioja Alavesa, through Labastida and up to Laguardia. Walking tour of this monumental medieval village with ancient walls and magnificent wineries. Wine Tasting at a traditional cave and tour of a typical wine cellar (wine tasting included). Free time for lunch (not included). Continue to Elciego where you can discover the magnificent architectural work of Frank Gehry at Marques de Riscal Wine Cellar. Return back to your hotel and free time. Overnight in Bilbao. Day 4 BILBAO- SAN SEBASTIAN- BIARRITZ (France) - ST. JEAN DE LUZ - HENDAYA (France) - HONDARRIBIA (Spain) BILBAO Marques de Riscal (Elciego) Buffet Breakfast. Following the highway which leads to the Spanishfrench border, you reach the beautiful city of Biarritz (France) where you will enjoy a panoramic city tour and a walk through the residential area of the lighthouse and the Virgin in the rock. Later you will visit the beautiful fishing town of St. Jean de-luz for a walking tour of the traditional fishing port Area. Continue along the coast to Hendaya (France), a small town located opposite to Hondarribia (Spain). Arrival to Hendaya and board a small boat to cross the bay. Once in Hondarribia free time for lunch (not included) at the Marina area with its popular atmosphere including typical flowery balconies and their rides full of bars and restaurants. In the afternoon proceed to San Sebastian. Arrival and a sightseeing visit including the ascent of Mount Igeldo, to end with a walking tour to the old part of the city with its typical buildings such as the Church of the Virgen del Coro, Town Hall, Old Port, Aquarium, etc. Free time to enjoy the Bay and its magnificent views, or enjoy one of its typical Pintxos famous bars. Back to your hotel in Bilbao. Overnight in Bilbao. Day 6 BILBAO - ORIGEN Buffet Breakfast Check out at the hotel. Private transfer to Bilbao airport for your return flight and end of our services. 9

6 Travel Terms & Conditions DOCUMENTATION All travelers, including children, must bear their documentation, either passport and / or visa, vaccination certificates, etc.., and obtaining such documents will be the responsibility of passengers. Any further information should be addressed to the Embassy / Consulate of the concerned country. Therefore, the Tour Operator assumes no responsibility for any expenses that might result due to lack of documentation. PRICES Rates provided are per person in EURO, based on double occupancy (two people sharing a room). Single room supplements and triple reductions or pricing are listed where applicable. Not all accommodation types are available on all tours. HOTELS Hotels are subject to availability, different types of rooms or hotels can be confirmed, depending on the price. Rates are not valid during trade fairs and /or special dates and events. No rooms have been blocked. TOURS / EXCURSIONS Passengers are requested to check visits hours and their operation days. The views published herewith may be modified and / or canceled by operational problems, weather, etc.. and does not include transportation to the meeting point or out of the scheduled visits. CHILDREN DISCOUNT Children up to 11 years, inclusive, will have a 20% discount when sharing with 2 adults. NIGHT TRANSFERS Transfers made between 20h 00 and 8h 00 are subject to a 20% of additional supplement. LUGGAGE Porterage services are not included neither at hotels nor airports or train stations. Please be prepared to carry your own suitcase. BARCELONA CITY TAX: This tax is subject to direct payment at the hotel by the client before departure. The City Tax Payment is per person and per night up to a maximum of seven nights (only customers over 16 years old) at the time of check in. Tax application for overnight stays in Catalonian tourist establishments is an act imposed by the Parliament of Catalonia 05/2012 of 20 th March. Hotels started applying it from the 1 st November RESERVATIONS All bookings must be made in writing, stating the following information: Names of passengers. Combined program name or hotel stay. Number and type of room (DBL/ TWN SGL or TPL). Program date and nights number. Day of arrival and departure of passengers and flights details. Changes Cancellation: Any changes or cancellations of a booking must be made in writing with full data and booking reference. TRAIN TICKETS Tickets reservations are subject to handling fees:: 6 per ticket. Cancellation fees will be charged where applicable. PAYMENT CONDITIONS Payments of the amount corresponding to the whole reservation must be made at least 15 days prior to the date of the trip. CANCELLATION FEES The following cancellation charges will apply, depending on the days prior to the date of travel: Between 15 and 10 days: 5% of the total amount of the trip. Between 10 and 3 days: 15% of the total amount of the trip. Within 48 hours before departure: 100% of the total amount of the trip. FLIGHTS, TRAINS AND RENT A CAR Flight and train tickets, and hired vehicles are subject to special conditions of contract / cancellation. Insurances of hired vehicles are required. In case of accident, the insurance would not cover the first (Group B) or (Group H). Optional insurance is available to cover these amounts. Train tickets cannot be booked / issued more than two months in advance. LOCAL HOLIDAYS During local or national holidays or special events, peek seasons, on Sundays, and during religious occasions, certain facilities such as museums, churches, restaurants, sightseeing tours, hotels, and shopping may be limited or not available. Alternatives will be offered whenever possible. Premium Incoming cannot be held responsible for any closures, necessary itinerary changes for any reason. TIPS Gratuities are not included. 15
