2 The Programme we suggest for you is an unforgettable trip through Austral Patagonia, discovering on skis the most magical and symbolic places. As you glide down the mountain, after the tough effort of climbing up, you enter deeply into this landscape of glacier tongues advancing into and dying in vast lakes, leaving their traces in the form of ice floes of unimaginable shapes and blues, a landscape of abrupt mountains which hide the enormous mass of the Continental Ice and awaken the dreams of those adventurers who decide to throw themselves into their conquest. You enter into the immensity, the silence, the beauty in a truly wild and exceptional place on our planet.

4 EL CALAFATE SKIING THE CERRO MOYANO (1500m). Located in an exceptional position, the ascent (1500m) of this hill gives us our first contact with the landscape and the immensity of Lago Argentino, helping us to adjust our biorhythms after the journey. The trip starts from the Confitería Huyliche some 15 km from El Calafate. From there the route traverses balconies which offer a spectacular view of great interest and bring us close to the foot of Cerro Moyano which we climb to see, in the distance, Lago Argentino, Perito Morreno Glacier, the Torres del Paine and the Fitz Roy. Ascent: 600m Descent: from 600 to 800m Overnight stay in 4* hotel PERITO MORENO GLACIER We will visit the Perito Moreno Glacier together with our National s Park guide that will help us understand the beauties of this exceptional place. 5 EL CHALTÉN LOMA DEL DIABLO (1800m) Going back up the Mosquito Valley the first part of our climb is through woods of lenga beeches, coming out into the typical valley allowing us to reach the ridge that will lead us to the summit of Loma de Diablo. From there we can see the Laguna del Desierto valley and the Fitz Roy. There are various options for the descent. Ascent: 1300m Descent: 1300 Overnight stay in 2* hotel VESPIGNIANI (2146m) An imposing mountain with a glacier environment on the south side of Lago del Desierto. Its position and isolation allow an all-round view of the various mountains and valleys. The descent is moderately difficult and offers exceptional views. Ascent: 1600m Descent: 1600m Overnight stay in 2* hotel

6 EL CHALTÉN PASO INFERIOR/SUPERIOR (1960m) Strategic point in the ascent of the Fitz Roy with exclusive panoramic views of its walls and surrounding glaciers. The starting point for this ascent is the Río Blanco camp. For the descent there are several options. Ascent: 1300m Descent: 1300m Overnight stay in 2* hotel CERRO MADSEN (1800m) A tribute to the danish explorer Andreas Madsen, this hill offers beautiful views over the valleys which converge in El Chaltén and the glaciers and surroundings of the Fitz Roy. To get there we have to go back up the valley leading to the Río Blanco camp from where there is access to the Laguna de los Tres. From this point one can attack the peak taking advantage of the various slopes leading to the top ridge. There are several options for the descent. Ascent: 1300m Descent: 1300m Overnight stay at Rio Blanco camp. A base camp traditionally used by climbers from all over the world, coming to the Andes to climb the Fitz Roy (3,405m).

7 CONDITIONS Please note This Programme is for your information. The guide will alter or adapt the Programme depending on the weather, the mountain conditions and the group. The Programme includes the visit to the Perito Moreno Glacier with an APN guide. 8 WHAT THE PRICE INCLUDES Transport: All Transfers required during the Programme from arrival at Calafate Airport until departure from Calafate Airport. All vehicles are for the exclusive use of the Programme Participants. All Accommodation during the Programme. The accommodation offered is a selection of the best hotels available in the places that we visit together: El Calafate and El Chalten. The quality of the hotels ensures the greatest comfort and enjoyment of the trip. Also included is the material necessary for the night spent in the Fitzroy area: tents, mats, cooking equipment, sleeping bag, etc. Double rooms considered as basis. Meals: 3 meals a day. During the daily activity a lunch box will be provided with hot drinks. Dinner will be taken in the hotel or in typical restaurants of the area (including 1/2 bottle of wine per person). UIAGM Mountain Guides for all activities on the mountains. Licensed local Guide for the visit to the Perito Moreno Glacier. Entrance fee to National Park included Porters and cook for those days when required in the Programme. The Client need only carry the meal for the day and personal equipment (approx 5-8 kg). The rest will be carried by our porters. Ski and Mountain Equipment: Harness, crampons and ice pick are included where necessary. Cross-country skis, poles, sealskins and safety kit (ARVA, shovel, probe and knives) are offered as an option. Ski boots are not included as they are considered to be part of the personal equipment. Welcome presentation and daily briefings on the activity. Personal insurance specifically for the Programme and all the activities included in it. 9 MATERIAL NEEDED FOR THE PROGRAMME Waterproof trekking boots. Synthetic underwear (polypropylene or capilene): long-sleeved T-shirt and a pair of fine leggings or long inner trousers. Long-sleeved T-shirt, preferably of synthetic fibre. Comfortable trousers. Goretex type over-trousers. Polar fleece. Goretex anorak with hood. Ski gloves (2 pairs). One pair of thin gloves of synthetic material. Ski socks (3 pairs). Balaclava, wool or polar fibre. Sunglasses with UV filter for high solar radiation. Snowstorm glasses. Sun protection cream and lip protector against sun. Plastic bottle or small thermos for drinks. Plasters or Compeed dressings for blisters. Frontal torch with spare batteries. Mountain ski boots. 40 litre rucksack. Camera. Safety kit: ARVA, shovel, probe and knives z. Cross-country skis, sealskins, poles and knives.
