4 Tuesday 1 April Panama Canal welcome reception Welcome Reception transfer Transfer to Hotels Panama the only place in the world where you can see the sun rise on the Pacific and set on the Caribbean welcomes all participants to the World Economic Forum on Latin America. The Welcome Reception, at the Miraflores Visitors Center, will be an opportunity to find out more about the Panama Canal, in the context of its 100th anniversary celebrations. The canal s current expansion is one of the largest ongoing construction projects in the world, and will secure its strategic value as a key conduit of international trade and a driving force for progress and growth.
