The rest of the afternoon is at leisure. 5 June June July July July July August August August August September 2016 Day 2: Vancouver - - Kamloops (B, L) This morning you ll be transferred to the Rocky Mountaineer dedicated train station. Travel on-board the Rocky Mountaineer in your GoldLeaf domed carriage from the coastal city of Vancouver to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia s interior. On today s journey you will see dramatic changes in scenery, from the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley, through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade Mountains, to the desert-like environment of the British Columbia interior. Highlights include the rushing waters of Hell s Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River. Your day concludes as the Rocky Mountaineer travels along the shores of Kamloops Lake into Kamloops. Tonight we overnight in Kamloops, where the rest of the evening is at leisure. 2 Day 3: Kamloops- - Banff (B,L) Your journey continues eastwards to the mighty Canadian Rockies and the province of Alberta. Once again you will see a spectacular array of scenery as you travel across ranchlands, along rocky lakeshores, over high mountain passes and through the remarkable tunnels that form part of the rich rail history of the Canadian Rockies. Today s highlights include Craigellachie, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven, the climb over Rogers Pass, Kicking Horse Canyon, the Spiral Tunnels and, of course, the glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies. Your rail journey ends this evening in the resort town of Banff. Day 4 Banff - Jasper Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Banff and Jasper National Parks via Lake Louise and the Icefields Parkway. Among the highlights are Bow Lake, the Columbia Icefield and Athabasca Falls. The Columbia Icefield is one of the largest accumulations of ice south of the Arctic Circle and one of the most accessible icefields in North America. Here you will ride on an Ice Explorer to the middle of the Athabasca Glacier to learn more about its geological features. Time will be available for lunch (not included). Arrive in to Jasper late this afternoon. Overnight in Jasper. Day 5: Jasper - - Kamloops (B,L) Today, travel back onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from Jasper in the Canadian Rockies to Kamloops, in the heart of the British Columbia Interior. As you journey west and south you will be surrounded by the dramatic scenery of the Continental Divide and by the river valleys of the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains. Today s highlights include Mount Robson, Pyramid Falls, the climb over Yellowhead Pass, and the journey along the North Thompson River as you approach Kamloops. Overnight in Kamloops.

3 Day 6: Kamloops - - Vancouver (B,L) Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from Jasper in the Canadian Rockies to Kamloops, in the heart of the British Columbia Interior. As you journey west and south you will be surrounded by the dramatic scenery of the Continental Divide and by the river valleys of the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains. Today s highlights include Mount Robson, Pyramid Falls, the climb over Yellowhead Pass, and the journey along the North Thompson River as you approach Kamloops. Overnight in Kamloops. Day 7: Vancouver - Seattle (D) It s time to leave beautiful Western Canada behind us today, and head back South into the USA. Today you will be transferred from the hotel to the Seattle cruise port, to join your Princess cruise of the inside passage. Upon arrival at the cruise port in Seattle, you will check-in with your cruise ship and enjoy a wonderful cruise through the natural wonders of Alaska. Day 8: Inside Passage Enjoy the day at sea on your luxury ship as it makes its way through the beautiful inside passage. Day 9: Juneau Here's your chance to take a glacial dogsled adventure via helicopter in Alaska's capital (on own account). A city that gracefully balances frontier ruggedness with cosmopolitan flair. Mendenhall Glacier, a river of ice measuring 1.5 miles in width and over 6 miles in length, is part of Juneau's Icefield, 1500 square miles of ice that feeds 38 glaciers and ready for you to take a float trip on it.

4 Day 10: Skagway In 1897, gold stampeders from all over the world arrived in Skagway by steamship, bound for the Dawson Gold Fields in Canada's Yukon Territory. It wasn't long before the roughand-tumble tent town was festooned with boardwalks, dance halls, inns and saloons. More than 100 years later, Skagway still retains the feel of those Gold Rush days, though most travelers now arrive by cruise. Day 11: Glacier Bay National Park Thunder doesn t just come from the sky. Glaciers creak, rumble and calve explosively with a stupendous roar often referred to as white thunder. The sound and fury, the icy colors and the massive icebergs they shed make Alaska s glaciers one of the greatest shows on earth. Day 13: Victoria The capital of British Columbia is also its largest island. This one-time British colony has retained much of its colonial splendor. Victoria is a seaside enclave that enjoys a temperate climate. Which is great, because you'll want to explore all the museums, parks and golf courses Victoria has to offer.

5 Day 14: Seattle - - Australia (B) This morning, disembark from your Luxury cruise ship to start your journey home. You will be met and transferred to the airport for your return flight home. Day 15: In-flight Day 16: Australia Arrive home today.
