1 10 IGazethi YesiFundazwe sakwazulu-natali 12 kunhlangulana 2014 MUNICIPAL NOTICE No June 2014 KWAZULU-NATAL NATURE CONSERVATION BOARD NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT: PROTECTED AREAS, 2003 (ACT NO. 57 OF 2003) OFFICE OF THE MEC FOR AGRICULTURE ENVIRONMENTAL AFFAIRS DECLARATION OF NATURE RESERVES AND ASSIGN EZEMVELO KZN WILDLIFE AS THE MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY IN TERMS OF THE NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT: PROTECTED AREAS ACT, 2003 (ACT NO. 57 OF 2003); I, Dr Meshack Radebe, MEC for Agriculture, Environmental Affairs, by virtue of the powers vested in me by section 23(1) and section 38(2) of the National Environmental Management: Protected Areas Act No. 57 of 2003 hereby declare that, with effect from the date of publication hereof, Mandlakazi Community Nature Reserve, Obuka Community Nature Reserve, and Somopho Community Nature Reserve and assigns Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife as the Management Authority. The properties listed in the Schedule constitute the named Nature Reserves. I further declare that, with effect from the date of publication hereof, that Mgeni Vlei Nature Reserve (KZN PG of 30 August 2012) shall be named as Mngeni Vlei Nature Reserve.
