6 Dollars Expenditure of Long-Stay tourists Distribution of International Long-Stay tourists' Expenditure during January-November 2015 Chart 9. From January to November 2015, the most meaningful expenditure of long-stay tourists was made by those arriving by air, totaling 12,260 million dollars (93.9%). The border tourists arrival increased 4.3% during January to November of 2015 compared to the same period last year; 83.0% entered by automobile while the remaining 17.0% were pedestrians. Chart 11. For the same period, the most meaningful expenditure of border tourists was made by those travelling by automobile, totaling 619 million dollars which represented 86.1% of all border tourists. 6

The average expenditure of border tourists decreased 4.5% in November of 2015 in comparison to the same month of the previous year, with 53.2 dollars. Gráfica 13. In January- November of 2015, the American air-coming visitors represented 57.2% of all international passengers arriving by air. Chart 14. In the January-November period of 2015, the airports the highest number of international passengers were: Cancún (5,939,843), México City (3,008,861), Los Cabos (1,157,978), Puerto Vallarta (1,034,998) and Guadalajara (688,341); which represents 90.1% of all international passengers. 15 Main Ports Figure 2. In the January-November period of 2015, the ports that received the highest number of passengers were the following: Cozumel, Ensenada and Majahual; representing 76.6% of all the arrivals in the period. On the other hand, according to Banco de México, foreign currency income from cruise visitors contributed with 2.4% of the total.
