Cabo San Lucas just to the west is the home of nightlife and entertainment. No need to choose between the two; they re just a few miles apart, so you can relax and drink in the charm of old Mexico one day, and seek out some nightlife the next. The strip of coastline between two Cabos is known for its pristine beaches and multiple championship golf courses. If you d like to try your hand at deep-sea fishing, the waters surrounding the peninsula are renowned by anglers worldwide. 6 Los Cabos Conference Activities Sunday November 5, 2017 Conference Reception 4:30 p.m. 5:30 p.m. After arriving, please stop by the Western CPE registration desk from 4:30 p.m. 5:30 p.m. to pick up your conference materials. We ll be available to answer any questions you might have about the courses and activities that are scheduled during the week. Sunday November 5, 2017 Welcome Dinner 6:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. Join us at the Lagoon for a Mexican Fiesta. Come mingle with your fellow attendees while you and your family enjoy a dinner menu full of local cuisine. Tuesday November 7, 2017 Snorkeling Excursion 1:30 p.m. 5:30 p.m. $ Discover the beauty that lies just underneath the ocean s surface with this four-hour snorkeling tour. During your boat ride, enjoy an open bar along with chips, guacamole, and salsa. All snorkeling equipment is provided; just bring comfortable shoes, a light sweater, sunscreen and your beach towel. Price includes sail, transportation, snorkeling equipment, open bar, appetizers, taxes, and gratuity. Wednesday November 8, 2017 Sunset Cruise 4:00 p.m. 7:30 p.m. $ Set sail with us on a remarkable voyage while enjoying a sunset over the clear blue sea in Los Cabos. On this two-hour ride, the crew will pamper you with unlimited cocktails and light appetizers of guacamole, chips, and salsa. This will be a memory you won t soon forget as you see the great sun descend into the Pacific. Price includes sail, transportation, open bar, appetizers, taxes, and gratuity.

7 Thursday November 9, 2017 Cooking Class and Dinner at Maria Corona 4:00 p.m. 10:00 p.m. $ Learn to cook traditional Mexican cuisine at the famous Maria Corona restaurant. Guests will be arranged into teams to work alongside restaurant staff. A jury will judge the dishes at the end of the session and prizes will be awarded! After your lesson, you ll enjoy a three-course dinner (the same menu you prepared) in a semi-private dining area while listening to a live Trio Band. Price includes transportation, cooking class, dinner, tax, and gratuity. Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase. Please note: Prices are subject to change. 9 RELEASE FROM RESPONSIBILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND POWER TO AUTHORIZE MEDICAL TREATMENT Complete only if you are participating in optional out-of-class activities. Release must be signed by each participating adult. It being my intention to participate in the optional activities offered while attending the Western CPE conference, and it being known and understood by me that said participation in these optional activities shall necessarily involve exposure to risks to my person and my property, I do hereby assume the full responsibility for any such risks and do hereby waive any right to any claim against Western CPE or any of its employees or agents for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, or expense resulting from any acts or omission of any carrier, government, private legal entity, or third person. I also assume sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify Western CPE against any loss due to any financial obligations or liabilities that I may personally incur, or any damages or injury to persons or property that I may cause during the time of my participation. I further release Western CPE from any claims arising from the aggravation of any physical disability or illness not disclosed to Western CPE and grant the employees of Western CPE full authority to take whatever actions they may consider to be warranted under the circumstances regarding my health and safety, and, at their discretion, to place me in any hospital or in the hands of any local doctor for medical treatment at my own expense, or to transport me by any means of conveyance required at my own expense for medical treatment or in the event of my demise.
