Valid passport. Proof of health insurance (valid for the period of studies). Payment of program fees at UNAM-Canadá. Placement test (only for students who are not currently enrolled at UNAM-Canadá). (Speaking and writing skills by videoconference or Skype with UNAM-Canadá. Dates: November 21, at 12:00 pm, November 23 at 6:00 pm When you register in CEPE-Taxco: -show original passport and leave a copy. -show stub of Migration Form FMM (for all foreign visitors) received and completed upon entering Mexico. Program Payment Procedures Deadline to register and reserve with a 10% deposit of program fees at UNAM-Canadá: Monday, November 13, Please, fill up and send the form The remaining balance (90%) is to be paid at UNAM-Canadá no later than Monday, December 1 st, Important: Limited spots available. Program Schedule Duration: 3 weeks, from January 13 th to February 3 th, Arrival at Benito Juárez International Airport in México and bus transportation to Taxco: Jan. 13, 2018 at 5pm. Approximate travel time: 3 hours. 1 Breakfast and city tour: Sunday, Jan. 18 th, First day of courses: Monday, Jan. 15 th, Return to México and guided tour of the Historical Center: February 3 rd, Anyone who wishes to travel earlier or later than the dates set by CEPE/Taxco can use a special taxi service for the price of $2500 MXN (app. $180 CAD). 1/12

Janvier 24 Gastronomic and culinary show (Robin s House) Taxco Janvier 31 Workshop Latin Dance (Robin s House) Taxco Volunteering If students wish to work as volunteers, the following activities are available: -Assist in English classes at CEPE-Taxco. -Assist in the maintenance of the "Hernando Ruíz de Alarcón" Botanical Garden. -Assist in the operations of the Juan Ruíz de Alarcón Library. The students should participate without cost in all the cultural, artistic and academic activities that will be organized by CEPE-Taxco, during the period of the program. (Concerts, theater, cinema, conferences, dance performance, etc.) Guided tours 5 Friday, January 19, 2018: Xochicalco and meal at Los limones Morelos Saturday, January 27, 2018, Agave field and mezcal distillery Casa Resiú Nayaá, Morelos nayaamezcal.com.mx and meal. Morelos Friday February 2 nd, 2018 Cuernavaca, Centro Historico, Museo Brady and meal at local restaurant Saturday, February 3 rd, 2018, OPTIONAL, Downtown Mexico City, Additional Cost. Program fees 6 Include: Reception at the Benito Juarez International Airport in Mexico and bus transportation to Taxco. Spanish courses and cultural complementary courses. ID and material 3 outside activities with transportation and meals 3 recreational and cultural activities 3 guided tours, without meals. Transportation to México and guided tour of the Historical Center TOTAL COST = $1,740 CAD (Canadian Dollars) 3 These activities are included in the program including round-trip transportation, entrance, and meals. 4 Included in the program costs. 5 These visits only included entrance and transportation. 4 Accommodation in Taxco 7 CEPE-Taxco recommend these hotels 8 : Hotel Posada San Javier 9, in the historical center of Taxco of; single or double rooms, 10 minutes by taxi or a 25 minute walk from CEPE-Taxco. From $400 to $450 CAD (three weeks) Hotel Boutique Pueblo Lindo, 10 minutes by taxi or a 35 minute walk from CEPE-Taxco. From $800 to $850 CAD (three weeks) Independent accommodations (rooms and apartments) CEPE-Taxco has a list of homestay families and furnished apartments. CEPE-Taxco can provide the list upon request.
