82 Summary Dr Robert Sonora is an Associate Professor of Economics at Fort Lewis College. Currently he is a Visiting Professor of Economics in the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Zagreb, Croatia as a Fulbright scholar. He has Masters degrees from the University of Essex in the UK and The Ohio State University. He earned a PhD from Ohio State on macroeconomic integration in a single currency area and thus retains some skepticism about the success of the euro in it s present form. Currently his research include: open economy macroeconomics, monetary economics, intra-national macroeconomics, international trade, transition economics and sport economics.
