1 Cruise Train Seven Stars in Kyushu September 11, 2017 Kyushu Railway Company Applications to open for Mar 18 to Sep 18 bookings From the 1 st of October 2017, applications are scheduled to open for bookings between March 2018 and September 2018 (spring and summer). At the same time, applications will open for several Premium Seven Stars travel products, which are products that include tours in Kyushu before the Seven Stars journey. Two of which include the eve of the journey, and the others offer an additional either 2 days or 3 days tour before the Seven Stars journey. 1. Outline of journeys during spring and summer a) 4D3N journey It is the first time to make a major route change since October Visiting Aso is included on the new route. Day 2: Stay in Ryokan (Tamanoyu, Kamenoi-besso, or Sanso-Murata) in Yufuin. Day 4: Enjoy Hisatsu line in the daytime, where is famous for switch-back run, a loop line, and one of the top 3 most scenic views from the trains in Japan. New stops at Mojiko, Usa, Hitoyoshi. b) 2D1N journey Day 1: Enjoy porcelains and kilns in Arita, Saga, and an exotic atmosphere in Nagasaki. Day 2: Optional plan either Yamaga tour or Stay on-board. Passengers for Yamaga tour have lunch in Yamaga city, for those stay on-board have lunch on-board. 2. These rooms will be sold with a priority for those who are based outside of Japan. *In addition to the above dates, there are Premium Seven Stars travel products which include the eve of the journey (June 8 th, August 10 th ) or an additional either 2 days (April 19 th ) or 3 days tour (May 16 th, September 5 th ) before the Seven Stars 2D1N journey. Seven Stars in Kyushu Premium travel product outline A) The Eve of the Journey. The products offers a socializing event among passengers before Seven Stars 2D1N journey so that passengers can have more relaxing time and fun during the journey. Dinner at a prestige restaurant in Fukuoka city, a concert and a talk show by people relevant to Seven Stars are held. The Premium Eve of the journey (Special dinner and events) *French cuisine by a restaurant Georges Marceau and a talk show by Hirokazu Fukushima, a photographer are scheduled. Stay in Fukuoka city + (inc. breakfast) + Seven Stars 2D1N Journey (3N4D journey is not applicable).

These products include nature, cuisine, traditional craftsmanship, and other areas that Kyushu is famous for. The contents have been especially planned by Seven Stars in Kyushu staff, and are a set with the train product. Premium tour of Kyushu(days 2-3) + Seven Stars in Kyushu 2D1N journey *Either Tour A, B or C is to be added to Seven Stars in Kyushu 2D1N journey (3N4D journey is not applicable). a) Application period October 1 st to 15 th b) Journey details Tour A: Oita (Usa, Yufuin, Hita) History, culture, nature and healing in Oita (Usa, Yufuin, Hita) + Seven Stars - 4 days Visiting Oita Prefecture (Usa, Yufuin, Hita) is a way to feel nature and to learn history as well as culture of worship for mountain of Six Sanctuaries. In Usa-jingu shrine - the head shrine of all Hachiman shrines in Japan, special lunch is served in Noh theatre. Tour B: Yakushima island An island of the world heritage and nature + Seven Stars - 5 days The world natural heritage Yakushima gives passengers a rich moment by participating in trekking and island tour. On day 2, passengers will have a special dinner prepared by Shinichi Sato, a chef of a restaurant called passage53-2 stars in the Michelin Guide. Tour C Kumamoto - Amakusa Nagasaki - Unzen Fukuoka - Yanagawa Western influence in Amakusa and nature in Unzen + Seven Stars - 5 days Amakusa entertains passengers with its rich local seafood and passengers will be able to learn history of crypto-christians Daimyo. On day 2, passengers will visit Unzen, which is the first national park in Japan. It has a history of being popular with foreigners as a hideaway from the hot summers. 5 Attachment In accordance with the route change of the Seven Stars 4D3N journey from March 2018, dedicate cuisines are prepared by newly and carefully selected chefs and restaurants, which is one of the essentials for Seven Stars journey. 1. Olmo Coppia (On day 2: Breakfast) Using fresh vegetables which are grown in home garden, and chemical-free and outdoor-grown vegetables in southern Aso, the owner serves 100% hand-made meal, which is surely heart- warming. Address: Kurabaru, Aso city, Kumamoto 2. Wakaeya (On day 3: Lunch) Wakaeya opened its business over 300 years ago. A famous dish, Ureshino,which is rice with sesame soup poured over it, will be served. The taste that a governor of Kitsuki loved back then has been handed down through generations. Address: Kitsuki, Kitsuki city, Oita 3. Manor House Shimadu Shigetomisoh (On day 3: Dinner) A restaurant called Automne located in the vast site carefully selects ingredients. With which, a chef serves elegant French cuisine that gratifies all five senses to mark the last night for the journey. Address: 31-7 Shimizu-Cho, Kagoshima city, Kagoshima 4. Hotel & Ryokan Ayunosato (On day 4: Lunch) This traditional Ryokan is surrounded by great nature which provides fresh and rich seasonal ingredients.
