53 Terms & Conditions Transport in Japan FAQs See you in Japan FAQs Can I buy part of an Escorted Tour? Each Escorted Tour has an option to depart early by a few days, only if you are then joining a quarter-finals Tour. If you are not doing this, you must take the full Tour as outlined. There are no refunds on unused services. Do I need a Visa for Japan? If you are travelling to Japan as a Tourist only and on an Australian passport you do not need a visa for stays of up to 90 days. For other requirements and nationalities please check with your local consulate or ask us for assistance when booking. Once booked can we change our Match Package? This is only possible if we have availability for the new package and if we think we can re-sell your original package. This will be done on a case-by-case basis, however you will not be permitted to reduce the overall purchase value for your travel arrangements once a deposit is paid. What happens if I need to cancel my trip? We strongly recommend that you take out appropriate travel insurance at the time of paying your deposit. As all payments are non-refundable and there are no refunds for unused services within a Match Package or Tour. We sell Travel Insurance with CHI, please contact us for a quote. A 15% discount on the premium will apply to our 200 Club members for this event. Will transfers from my hotel to the match be included? Match transfers are included for all Escorted on a group basis by chartered coach. For the Finals Collection, match transfers are included (with the exception of the four quarter-finals in Tokyo). For the pool there are no match transfers (with the exception of Match Package 10, which includes transfers from Fukuoka to Oita). How do I get around in Tokyo and Yokohama? On all Escorted and all Finals Collection Match Packages we include a SUICA Card with a pre-paid value of 2,500 per person. This can be topped up at any time using cash or credit cards at all stations. It s the ideal way to travel around the metropolitan area of Tokyo and you can also use the card to make small purchases at stations, vending machines etc. If you have a JR Rail Pass you can use this on most services, please contact us to purchase train tickets. Are local taxes included in my package? Japan Consumption Tax is included based on the current rate of 8%. If this changes any additional tax will need to be collected. GST does not apply to international travellers, but does apply to separate domestic travel if required. Do you offer pricing for children? There are no discounts for children taking a seat in a stadium on the official travel program. Triple or family rooms are available occasionally and this will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. It s a distinct advantage to book early for availability, seating locations and best pricing. Are you a qualified Travel Agency? Events Travel is the trading name of Events Worldwide Pty. Ltd.
