3 1. Background Nuclear Regulation Authority is the unified organization of the nuclear regulations. Drills and trainings executed by METI and MEXT are rearranged and executed by JNES. JNES was appointed in the designated public corporations. JNES positively participates and play own rolls in the national the local government exercises and also support each exercise. 13 Brief Summary of National Exercise October 11th and 12th, 2013 Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan. This exercise is the annual nation-level joint exercise conducted by the government, local government, agencies, Kyusyu Electric Power Co., Inc., and residents. 13/26

21 Outline of Activities in the National Nuclear Emergency Response Exercise Legend: Licensee National Gov.
