Board the Vapour Trails airport transfer to London Airport Morning Depart from Stansted Airport at 06:10 hours Check in opens at 04:10 hours arrive at Rome Ciampino Airport at 09:45 hours On arrival, the group will reassemble at the luggage carousel with the Vapour Trails representative. When the group are together, we will board the coach for our private transfer to our hotel in central Rome for a 3 night stay. Afternoon Free time to relax, or start your exploration of Rome. Mass at the Hotel for the group at 18:30 hours Evening meal at the Hotel at 19:30 hours Day 2. Morning Breakfast at 07:00 hours Mass at 08:00 hours in the Irish Chapel in the Vatican Grotte Meeting point Reception at 07:30 hours. Morning After Mass the group will meet together. For those booked on the Vatican Museum Tour, we will proceed to the Museum Entrance for 10:00 hours and meet our guide. The tour will take approximately 3 hours. Afternoon Free time. Take one of the open topped tour buses which stop in Via Conciliazione, (by St. Peter s) for a tour around the city of Rome. There is a hop-on and hop-off service available if you want to explore some of the sites on the tour, such as the Colosseum. Or take a stroll through Villa Borghese, a beautiful park located in central Rome near to Piazza del Popolo. Go souvenir shopping or send your postcards, post them in the yellow post boxes located at either side of the Colonnades at St. Peter s as they will have the Vatican State stamp posted on them. 7 Day 3. Morning - Papal Audience at 10:30 hours in St. Peter s Audience Hall. Depart Hotel at 08:15 hours. Meeting point Reception at 08:10 hours The Papal Audience ends at 12:00 Noon after which there is free time. Afternoon Christian Rome Tour at 13:30 hours Meet at hotel reception at 13:15 hours. During our tour we will visit the Catacomb of Santa Domitilla, we will have a catacomb guide who will explain the history and take you on a tour of the Catacomb. Note: The Catacomb can be claustrophobic and once you start the tour you have to complete it as you cannot go back. We then visit St. Paul s Outside the Walls and St. John Lateran, two of the major Basilica s in Rome with our local guide Mass at the Hotel at 18:30 hours Evening meal at the Hotel at 19:30 hours Day 4. Morning - Check out of our Hotel for our 1 night stay in Assisi. Packed breakfast from the Hotel. Depart Hotel at 07:00 hours. Comfort stop on the way to Assisi, approx journey time 2.5 hours. On arrival in Assisi, we check into our Hotel. Mass at St. Francis Basilica at 12:00 Noon at St. Catherine s Chapel. Afternoon Free time to enjoy Assisi at you leisure. Evening meal at the Hotel at 19:30 hours Day 5. Morning - Breakfast at 07:00 hours. Check out of our Hotel for our journey to San Giovanni Rotondo at 07:30 hours. Comfort stop on the way. Upon arrival we meet our guide at the Coach park and take the short shuttle bus ride to the centre of San Giovanni Rotondo. We will visit with our guide, all the places of Padre Pio, such as the Museum, the old Church and the new Church, Saint Pio and see the body of Padre Pio in the Crypt of the Church. We will also visit the English office were you will see a short film and then receive a blessing with the glove of Padro Pio. We will leave San Giovanni Rotondo at approximately 14:30 hours for our journey back to Rome. We will have a comfort stop on the way and arrive in Rome at approx. 20:30 hours. Evening meal at 21:00 hours Day 6. Morning - Depart from the Hotel at 11:00 hours. for our transfer to Rome Ciampino Airport for Flight Number FR 3003 at 1410 hours, check in opens at 12:10 hours. Arrive approximately 15:50 hours at Stansted Airport
