1 From San Basilio to B&B Sandra Once landed at San Basilio, there are two alternatives to reach us: 1 st - by Taxi This is the quickest and most comfortable system, but it is also and by far the most expensive. In this way you arrive directly in front of our entrance door. Standard rate is 65 Euros and includes up to four person and relative luggage. 2 nd. - by Water-bus and on Foot From San Basilio Terminal 21, 22 the nearest water bus stop is named San Basilio and is just out of the gate (see map above). 2 The route includes a first leg, up to Piazzale Roma, with the use of the ACTV public transportation system lines No. 62 or 2, and a second leg, from Piazzale Roma to the boat landing of San Marcuola, by means of the ACTV vaporetto line No. 1. The line No. 62, takes about 10 minutes to reach Piazzale Roma that is the second stop. Once there you have to change boat and boat landing. The boat landing of ACTV line 1 (see map at page 1) once out of the boat landing of line 62, is the first one on the left walking along the bank of the Canal Grande. The line No. 2, takes about 20 minutes to reach Piazzale Roma that is the third stop. Once there you have to change boat and boat landing. The boat landing of ACTV line 1 (see map at page 1) once out of the boat landing of line 2, is the first one on the right walking along the bank of the Canal Grande. San Marcuola is the third stop from Piazzale Roma From there the walking time to reach B&B Sandra is about 10 minutes. For the map and the detailed description of the route with photos see page 3, 4, 5. You can buy the ticket for the ACTV public transportation system at any tobacconist or newspaper shop. Travel cards with time limit are more convenient then single fare tickets. Following alternatives are available: Single fare 7,00 (validity 60 minutes) Validity 12 hours 18,00 Validity 24 hours 20,00 Validity 36 hours 25,00 Validity 48 hours 30,00 Validity 72 hours 35,00 Stamp the ticket before your first trip (there are yellow machines at the entrance onto the boat landings), in this way you stamp the date and the time.
